We read the Bible because it is GOD'S WORD, people-not because it looks pretty. The passages have no biblical foundation. Half of them are even biblically incorrect! For instance: "Lord, help me to be known for doing good and helping out." So let me get this straight: according to this guy, we WANT to become FAMOUS with an excuse. Let me counter that with a biblical passage that has a biblical foundation: "And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full." -Matthew 6:5 Anybody that is famous or rich has most likely turned his heart to his source of earthly joy. I am immediately deleting this APP. What makes you think we can replace the Holy Bible, God's word, with a stupid application made by people? Is this perfect because it has pretty pictures? Get real. We can't trust this thing or anything in the world except the Bible. The developer's claim of " We don't have time to read the Bible" is crazy. Do we now organize the Bible around our schedule? This app is leading us away from God, and the numerous 5-star reviews saying this app is perfect is scaring me. WE ARE SINFUL HUMANS. WE CAN CREATE NOTHING THAT COULD POSSIBLY BE PERFECT OR MATCHING THE GLORY OF GOD. PLEASE. RETURN TO THE FATHER AND THE BIBLE. ### 1/5 — Daily prayer rip off *2015-04-24* Yesterday paid $2.99 to remove the ads from my iPhone! It's great, however when I logged onto my iPad to use the app, the ads appeared and it asked for another $2.99 to remove the ads from my iPad app. I already paid once for my iPhone , why do I need to pay again? Other apps I pay for ads removal only require one payment (usually$.99) and it removes the ads from both iPhone and iPad versions of the app. You folks charge three times as much and it only removes the ads from one app not on both iPad and iPhone.
