It’s not just a quick advert either, most times a succession of half minute ads…really spoils what used to be fun…puts me off wanting to even start a crossword as you just know what is going to happen! I would sooner pay for an ad-free version if it meant I could be allowed to enjoy it! I guess they have just been written from a database by a computer. Thanks… 😑 Hope this version has sorted out the problem where, after iPad is switched on, the display is a small grid with all the clues instead of large grid with only the clue for the selected word displayed.
