## What is BestBuddAI?

BestBuddAI is a protected AI learning app for children.

Children should not have to use raw AI built for adults. BestBuddAI checks each question before AI sees it, then reshapes the response into hints, simple explanations, memory tricks, and one follow-up question.

Built for learning, not shortcut answers:
- Hint-first support for math, science, reading, and general school-safe questions
- Mnemonics and memory tricks kids can save and revisit
- Step-by-step teaching instead of answer dumping
- Safe redirects for harmful, manipulative, sexual, hateful, illegal, or bullying requests

Built for parent and teacher trust:
- Parent controls for response length, no-direct-answers mode, safe-topics-only mode, and daily time limits
- Teacher classroom mode with lesson-topic lock, short sessions, and no-shortcut rules
- Reviewable session history so adults can see how BestBuddAI shaped each answer

BestBuddAI is not a general chatbot and it is not a teacher replacement. It is a protected AI wrapper for kids that helps adults set the rules and helps children think for themselves.
