The problem is with the proportion of ads to reading. When I first downloaded the app, the ads weren’t bad. The chapters were a decent length, so I was ok with them. About halfway through the first novel, I was only getting a couple of pages read before the chapter ended and I had to watch another ad. I became very frustrated while reading. I finally finished the novel and went back to reading in my Kindle app instead. After a receiving sample novels when playing a game, I got hooked on another novel. This one was even worse. Halfway through, I started getting ads when I turned to the last page of the “chapter.” Then I got another ad when I turned to the new chapter. What normally took 3-4 days to read took weeks. I got so frustrated, that I finally quit before I even finished the book and deleted the app. ### 4/5 — Good books *2026-09-11, version 2.2.6* While I really like the books themselves. Once I finish the horribly written book it some how becomes a novel in another reading app. I’m positive the errors in those other apps are just as bad and most likely the exact same issues and guessing they’re the same companies with different names but same badly edited novels. , I hate that the chapters are only 3-4 pages so unless you purchase their books at $99 you have to watch ads after ads after ads. I also have an issue with the fact that no matter how bright I need my screen to be it changes it back to very dim every single time. Multiple times has not saved my progress and I’m forced to watch ads to open chapters I’ve already read. No matter how many ads I watch it doesn’t seem to credit accurately. Although I have done the check in daily it often says I’ve missed days and can make up by watching more ads. A transparent site would say you need to watch x# of ads to make up for this day. You have watched # of #. But it says nothing and no matter how many ads I watch the make up doesn’t credit. The ads are very repetitive and often irrelevant to me which is frustrating. If you click on “not interested” you shouldn’t see the same ad again and certainly not multiple times in a row. The site glitches and freezes frequently. Only being able to read a few chapters a day is annoying. I like to read from beginning to end rather quickly. The ads between every page while reading the chapters I’ve already had to watch ads to open makes me mad. More time is spent on ads than on the actual story! I want to finish the story I am currently reading. Stop opening other stories I only want to read one at a time. And when you do this I can’t get back to MY story. The site is hard to move around in. The story itself is sometimes predictable and the wording is often awkward as if English is not the language it was written in, or worse AI generated. The cost to actually purchase the app is ridiculous, don’t know who would pay that much.
