## What is BeTheBee?

Be The Bee is an offline-first hive inspection app built for practical, data-driven beekeeping.

Inspect hives hands-free using voice input and Bluetooth earphones, or complete the same structured inspection manually when voice recording is not needed. Be The Bee is designed for real apiary conditions, including remote locations where internet access may be limited or unavailable.

Voice recognition, inspection processing, and key metric calculations can run directly on the device, allowing inspections to continue without a live cloud connection. Records are saved locally first and can be synchronized with the cloud when internet access becomes available.

During each inspection, Be The Bee helps you record the details that matter most in the apiary: queen status, brood and larvae, drone brood, queen cells, swarming indicators, colony temperament, visible disease, treatments, feeding, equipment changes, and custom notes.

Voice-powered inspections help reduce paper notes and make it easier to capture information while working directly with your colonies. Inspection data is organized into clear hive records so you can review colony history, track changes over time, and make better management decisions.
