BeThereNow is a meditation and sleep app that generates its sound from a place — any place. Choose a destination anywhere on Earth, and its real GPS coordinates become a unique ambient soundscape, computed live on your device. No human chose the frequencies. The location did. HOW THE AUDIO WORKS - θ (polar angle) sets the root frequency. Tokyo produces ~122 Hz. Sydney produces ~207 Hz. No two locations share the same combination of θ, φ, and r. - φ (azimuthal angle) selects the harmonic intervals from just-intonation ratios unique to your longitude. - r (radial distance from Earth's center) shapes the reverb.
