Re log in several times. Hard to put in more than a 4 leg parlay as the app won’t even let you scroll down to place a bet if it’s larger than that. Trying to view current bets and won’t even scroll past the first one. The app doesn’t work completely. Deposits are delayed sometimes 5 minutes up to 8 hours. ABSOLUTELY NO LIVE SUPPORT. If you have issues with this app or bets, you have to go to the physical mgm casino for help. Otherwise you won’t get any. ### 2/5 — Glitches *2022-12-18, version 21.05.09* App has many glitches, requiring you to close the app multiple times to load a page. It will take several tries to place a bet, especially during a live match as the line will move in the 10 seconds it takes to place the bet. ### 1/5 — Pretty terrible *2022-12-02, version 21.05.09* I’ve been a loyal MGM customer for years now. I’ve enjoyed my experience with their other mobile app for guest check in/room key. This application is awful. So bad, I plan to take my business to another app and casino group. The people in the sports books are happy to help you set it up. If you want to use a kiosk, you should use a shorter than usual (less secure) password The login on the application has no FaceID, so hopefully you use that short password. The location services literally never work. -on WiFi, WiFi on but not connected, WiFi radial disabled, Full cellular bars on LTE or 5G. Precise location sharing on or off. Location while using or ask next time. ### 3/5 — Location Services Doesn’t Work *2022-11-28, version 21.05.09* Unless I’m onsite at an MGM property AND connected to the wifi, the app can’t acquire my location when placing bets. Doesn’t matter if I have full bars of 5G UC(T-Mobile) or not, the app fails to acquire signal. If I happen to be staying at non-MGM property(Caesar’s), I get an “invalid connection, please connect to onsite wifi” message in the app. Otherwise the app is fantastic and offers more options than Caesar’s. Just needs to be more user-friendly, like Caesar’s. ### 1/5 — Crashes and times out *2022-11-08, version 21.05.09* I had a rep approach me in the sports book while I was placing my bets on the kiosk. I obliged the set up and it’s been a headache ever since. I’m unable to place bets due to it either crashing or timing out and then refuses to process the bet. And it also won’t show all of the board so I have to bet on a kiosk. This app has been worthless, as I’ve just been forced to use the kiosk or the cashier. MGM is far behind on their innovation with this app. ### 1/5 — Constant issues *2022-11-07, version 21.05.09* First off I struggled for 2 days to place a bet. Fighting with that app as it argued that my location services wouldn’t work. While I was in my room at New York New York. I tried just cell service, Wi-Fi only, Wi-Fi Bluetooth. Everything I could think of to trouble shoot and nothing solved it. Just ended up making the bet in the physical Sportsbook. ### 2/5 — Terrible terrible *2022-10-29, version 21.05.09* If you bet on tennis stay away from this app. Unlike William Hill that would give you a refund if your player gets injured mgm will simply mark it as a lost, now the app itself is glitchy all the time it kicks you out of the app for no reason at all, today I haven’t been able to open it, I deleted the app, reinstalled, restarted my device and I’m still not able to log in. For how much money this company makes you’ll think they’ll offer better quality service but that’s not the case here. ### 1/5 — If I could give negative stars I would *2022-10-25, version 21.05.09* This is absolutely the worst app I've ever used. It’s almost completely unusable between how often it logs you out randomly while actively trying to place bets, completely crashes and shuts down, or simply just will not place bets. I constantly get error messages about it not being able to acquire my location or that I'm using an unauthorized WiFi network. Using it with data vs. WiFi makes 0 difference, it’s still extremely difficult to actually get a bet through. It’s often almost impossible to place bets on live games as the app is so slow and full of error messages, if the money line changes, which it often does before you can ever get out of the loading screen, it restarts the whole process of trying to put it through so good luck. Also you can’t cash out from the app directly to your bank account which is just an added level of difficulty for no other reason than wanting you to keep your money tied up in the app as long as possible in hopes you’ll lose it betting instead of cashing out. You’d think such a large and profitable entity such as MGM could afford to have a better team looking at all of these issues but for as long as I’ve had the app, there’s never been one single update on it. Absolute garbage experience ### 1/5 — Beware when using credit card to fund account *2022-10-20, version 21.05.09* I signed up BetMGM account in Las Vegas. When I was asked to deposit fund into the account, I was told by the BetMGM rep at the casino there is no fee charged for the deposit, but when I got my bank statement there is a $15 charge because it was processed as cash advance. It was very deceptive by the BetMGM employee and there is no warning inside the app either ### 2/5 — Has major issues retrieving location *2022-10-18, version 21.05.09* I wanted to love this app because I like how easy the platform is to place bets, but I can’t give it more than 2 stars because it doesn’t really work. I have an iPhone 13 up to date in software and for whatever reason, the app has difficulties acquiring my location. Without it acquiring my location, I can’t place bets. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and I’ve only been able to place 3 tickets out of the 20 I’ve tried to place. It’s very frustrating knowing that if the ticket would’ve gone through, I would’ve won some money. But since it didn’t because of all the bugs and issues the app has, it’s getting a negative review in hopes that they fix all the bugs this app has. ### 2/5 — Live betting failure *2022-10-09, version 21.05.09* On several occasions during the football season and other high volume betting events, the app fails to load or logs me out completely. Live better in seldom available when I’m trying to hedge my original bets. Other apps tend to compensate bettors when live wagering fails but this app does not. That is why I will definitely put my money in a different betting account in the near future. ### 1/5 — Keeping it simple *2022-09-27, version 21.05.09* 1. The app has connection issues even in their own casino. Tends to crash, not load appropriately. It’s the worst app of all the major US bookies. 2. If you do end up winning money, they will rate-limit you. They don’t want your business if you have a tendency to win or get lucky every once in awhile. That is all you need to know. It’s as simple as that folks, buyer beware. ### 1/5 — Outdated, terrible customer support, scammed me *2022-09-10, version 21.05.09* The app always crashes, they don’t update the schedule quick enough in comparison to other apps, I emailed customer support twice and never got a reply. Also, I had multiple parlay bets for tennis where one game was a walkover and it made me lose all my parlay bets cause my player I bet on WON by walkover. I did not get a refund for that. Other apps makes the bet as a VOID. This app scammed me and customer service is ignoring me. ### 1/5 — Impossible to use *2022-09-07, version 21.05.09* If you’re lucky enough to connect, the sign up process is completely broken. Somehow the rating is 4.7 but every review I see is one star? Seems to be an open secret that none of the casinos want you to use the app, instead they want you to use in person wagering. Kinda goofy since they advertise the apps to death. Seriously, ask any sports book employee and they will throw their hand up and say “I don’t know, can’t help you with the app” ### 1/5 — Much to be desired *2022-09-05, version 21.05.09* I am stunned MGM puts their name on this. App spazzes out way too often or you're hit with a never ending loading circle and have to start all over. I don't see any options for FaceId which makes having to log in every time you leave the app further sour my opinion. Then if the app does work the offerings are terrible or you will see a game in the live section from days prior. No promos either. Honestly would be a better experience to just drive to Arizona and use FD or DK. ### 1/5 — Do not download if you live outside Nevada *2022-08-29, version 21.05.09* I would highly, HIGHLY recommend you are very careful before you download this app and use it to bet unless you live in Nevada or go there frequently. First of all, the app is one of the worst apps I’ve ever seen. It crashes every single time I use it. If I minimize it for any reason, I have to log back in. And it doesn’t save my password so I have to keep re-entering my password. But more importantly, if you do finally get to a point where you can place some bets, you HAVE to “withdraw” your money from a Sportsbook or there is a fee to get it sent to you. So if you are like me and win a bet late at night and then have to leave for the airport before the Sportsbook opens the next day, you either have to go back to Vegas to get the money or pay a fee to get the money you won. It’s a complete rip off and scam so MGM can make money off of the interest they get by investing your money while you leave it in your account. All gambling sites, casinos, and apps are run by shady people who just want to squeeze any cent they can out of you. MGM has to be one of the worst at it though. ### 3/5 — complaint from seasoned bettor *2022-06-14, version 21.05.09* The app is ok but the experience is horrible and its Simply because there is none. You can bet $500 on the app and get absolutely nothing for it while going to the casino you’ll at least get a smile from a female ticket writer and comps for a free beer or two At the casino there’s no problem catching the in-game, while this thing on the daily has problems “acquiring your location “. When it comes to mobile, it’s nearly impossible to find the bets you want to place. You should be able to search for the bets you want, at least filter by team. The biggest issue is you can’t parlay within the same game. You can’t use this outside of Nevada. DraftKings lets you in game parlay BUT you can’t use it within Nevada. What’s the point of coming to Vegas to gamble? I get better odds and betting options without paying for a hotel and flight. **Developer response:** Hi, there. For the first two years, they really were the King of Sportsbooks! I loved the app. Worked great. But now… good lord they are now the most bottom tier sports betting app on the market. Ever since they took away live betting this app has been the worst sports betting experience I’ve ever had. The least amount of prop bets in all of Las Vegas. They will limit you as soon as you start winning, but will gladly take every dollar away from you when you lose. App is constantly crashing. As if this multibillion dollar company couldn’t afford to pay a little more for a better software engineer to make sure the app actually works correctly. Their new team logos look like something my 14 year old sister could make from Microsoft Office. They spend all their money on marketing just to put out a bottom tier app. I’ve been a loyal customer for 3 years, but now Caesars just absolutely crushes you guys in almost every aspect. Do better. ### 1/5 — Terrible User Experience *2023-03-24* I can’t believe this app doesn’t support Face ID. It wouldn’t be so bad but it logs off after just a couple of minutes. So pretty much every time you open the app, you have to put in your password. For those of us with strong passwords, it’s super annoying. Almost unusable. Also, there are plenty of random crashes. And ironically, it sometimes asks you rate the app, but then shows you a blank screen. Not only can’t you rate the app, you can’t even close the rate pop up! ### 1/5 — Bad end user experience *2023-03-09* Had a Devil of a time uploading funds to my account. I imagine it’s worse trying to get your money back. The app often crashes and forces many log outs seemingly at random. And no FaceID for easy login like many other apps have so it’s VERY CUMBERSOME going back and forth between a password app and the MGM app to re-login literally dozens of times per day with any sort of strong password. I will use it through 2023 NCAA since I’ve got an account established but then will switch to Wynn (or anything else actually). ### 1/5 — Scam *2023-02-16, version 22.04.06* This app requires you to give them money to put on your account. You can only cash it back out with one of the tellers at the Sportsbook. I waited until the last game ended & then tried to cash out. The teller said they were closed. She said come back at 8am. I told her my flight was before then. She said you’ll have to wait until you come back to Vegas. This way they can keep your money that you can’t use anymore in their account. ### 1/5 — Withdrawal *2023-02-05, version 22.04.06* For some reason I’m not able to withdraw money from the app into my bank. I contacted the support email several times and they couldn’t give me a good explanation why I can’t input my bank account info to the app for withdrawal. Service over the phone was mediocre as well. Nobody has the time or the knowledge of how to solve my issue. I’ll find some other way to place my bets and so you should too if you are reading this. ### 1/5 — Do not use this app *2023-01-12, version 22.04.06* I honestly don’t know how MGM puts their name on something this bad, with how much money they make off you they can afford to hire a decent software developer to make a useable app. Almost impossible to use with live betting and constantly glitches and logs you out, the app interface looks like it was made by a high schooler for a school project. Used to work but I will close my account and remove my funds Will switch to Caesar’s app because it actually works ### 1/5 — Worst Sports Betting App in America *2022-12-11, version 21.05.09* Do yourself a favor and place your bets at a kiosk or in-person, if you need to download an app for betting this app is not the one. Multiple location tracking issues but whenever you try to deposit, they happily take your money. The guy at the sportsbook helped me download the app and register at the counter. Once that was done, I was off to the races! Garbage 💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡💡 Update - this seems like a real dumb thing to have to do. But I had to go to the sports book to get help. You can’t just turn off WiFi from the Home Screen. WiFi has to be fully disabled from your phone settings. Changed from 1 star to 3 stars. I’m still contemplating correcting the gambling regulation... once, it even locked in a completely different ticket than was desired. The “my bets” tab doesn’t scroll so as soon as you fill that page with bets you can’t see any of the bets you placed earlier/before those.
