A lost page. Six word worlds. And Nox needs your help. Better Reading turns regular reading and spelling practice into one connected journey. In short stages, learners master words, recover book pages, and reveal lovingly illustrated collectible pictures piece by piece. NOX’S BOOK JOURNEY • A guided route from first reading steps to a broad vocabulary • Short, manageable stages with one clear next mission • Warm German and English narration—pre-generated, offline, and always readable on screen • Calm memory time and suitable activities that vary between stages • Earlier chapters remain available as readable recaps SIX PLAYFUL WAYS TO PRACTICE • Choose the correct word • Spell words with a clear on-screen keyboard • Put letters in order in a puzzle • Say words and have them recognized • Listen to words and write them • Match words to helpful riddle clues COLLECT, DISCOVER, KEEP READING Every newly mastered word helps reveal a collectible picture. Completed pictures continue the story and unlock new local profile pictures. Permanent achievements celebrate solved tasks, correct-answer streaks, exploration, and cumulative practice days. The three feathers on a result screen rate only that completed round. MADE FOR DIFFERENT LEARNING PATHS • Independent, carefully staged German and English word worlds • Relaxed practice, timed play, or an endurance challenge • Read-aloud support, hints, optional syllable colors, initial-sound pictures, and school-handwriting styles • Tricky words return for focused practice • Each reader profile remembers its color world, word list, activity, play style, and filters PRACTICE TOGETHER OR BRING YOUR OWN WORDS Play duels on one device, take turns, or connect two devices on the same local network. Every learning feature is included. Afterwards, unlock the full version with a one-time purchase and Family Sharing. Previous purchasers keep full access. No subscription, ads or automatic charge. ### 2.2.0 — 2026-10-17 Try the entire app free for 14 days, then unlock the full version with a single purchase and Family Sharing. Trial activation, purchases and restore are protected by the parent gate. Previous purchasers keep full access. Progress and collections are always preserved. No ads, no subscription and no automatic charge. ### 2.1.3 — 2026-10-09 The acknowledgements in the parent area once again include our Berlin heart greeting and celebrate the people who support Better Reading. ### 2.1.2 — 2026-08-22 Reader profiles are now safer to manage: children can choose, add, and rename profiles in the regular profile picker, while deletion is available only in the protected parent area. IMPROVED • A dedicated profile management screen brings renaming and deletion together with clear confirmation. • The child-friendly profile picker stays free of destructive actions. FIXED • If the active or final profile is deleted, Better Reading automatically selects an existing reader or creates a fresh empty profile. The learning flow and local data remain consistent without a dead end. ### 2.1.1 — 2026-08-20 Reader profiles can now be renamed directly from the profile picker, while all learning progress, color themes, and settings stay exactly where they belong. NEW • A dedicated swipe action opens renaming. Empty and duplicate names are reliably prevented. IMPROVED • Letter Pairs now uses only the clear, prerecorded example word for each sound. Short or easily confused letters such as E, H, L, and N are easier to understand. • After a mismatch, another card can be chosen immediately: the open pair closes and the newly selected card turns over in one calm step. FIXED • Profile names now stay within the layout across the home screen, learning summaries, rankings, and local or network duels—even on the smallest supported iPhones. ## More apps by Fabian Andres Pablo Amos - [Pelvic Presence](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/pelvic-presence/id6760614023) - [Practify: Klavier & Noten üben](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/practify-klavier-and-noten-uben/id6797319252) - [Muehlenstein](https://appshunter.io/ios/app/muehlenstein/id6818139673) All apps by Fabian Andres Pablo Amos: https://appshunter.io/developer/1842172297 --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
