It replaces the now not supported Bose Soundtouch app. Bose dropped support for the Soundtouch Soundbar. The Better ST app is a complete replacement. It works perfectly as a replacement. The developer is very responsive and supportive. He continues to updating the app making it better! I recommend the Better ST app for support and replacement of the Bose Soundtouch Soundbars.
