## What is BetterButter?

Your phone rings. You answer. On the other end is a prospect who is not
impressed yet.

BetterButter is practice for the conversations you only get one shot at. Not a
script to read, not a form to fill in: an actual phone call with someone who
pushes back, interrupts, asks for the number you were hoping to skip, and hangs
up if you waste their time.

Then it tells you the truth about how it went.

IT CALLS YOU

Most practice fails because you have to be in the mood for it. BetterButter
rings your phone. Schedule a call for Tuesday at 8am, or let it surprise you
during the week, and answer it the way you would answer a real one: unprepared,
mid-coffee, slightly off balance. That is the point.

THE PEOPLE ON THE OTHER END

Warm hears you out and gives you room, which is its own test: nobody stops you
when you start to wander.

Rushed is a senior exec who did not want to take this call. Bottom line, now.

Hostile has heard a thousand pitches. Numbers without sources and markets
without sizes get taken apart. It concedes what you actually support, and
nothing for free.

They interrupt. They go quiet. They change the subject. If the conversation
stops going anywhere, they end the call, and that is feedback too.

THE REPORT IS THE PRODUCT

Every call ends with a written breakdown:

- Whether you actually covered what you set out to cover, not whether you
  sounded confident
- Delivery scored on pace, filler, clarity and conviction
- The specific moments that turned the call, quoted from what you said
- One thing to do differently next time. One. Not a list you will ignore

We don't sell a nicer critique. Every report is the same honest one, because a
flattering one is worthless.

PRACTISE FOR

Sales calls and cold outreach. Investor pitches and live Q&A. Interviews.
Performance conversations. Anything where you get one attempt and the other
person has somewhere else to be.

PRIVACY

Your call audio is never recorded or stored. It streams through so the
character can respond, and it is gone when the call ends. Your transcripts and
reports are yours, and deleting your account removes them permanently.
