BetterLists is an easy to use and flexible app for quick access to all your information. Now you can have your To Do list, expenses, and grocery list all in one place. BetterLists comes with: To Do Grocery List Expenses Birthdays Restaurants To Try You can use them as is, or modify them exactly how you want. Add your own. FEATURES - Create as many lists as you like. - Your lists can contain fields holding text, dates, times, and numbers. - Fields can be formatted many different ways. Notes, phone numbers, currency, and more. - Your lists can be modified anytime. Add or delete a field, change it's type or name. - Check and uncheck items so you can reuse a list over and over. - Delete items just by swiping your finger across them. - Email your lists to yourself. - Use Phone, Email, and Web address fields to dial, email, or go to a web address. - Sort your list by any field, and view up to 3 fields in List View. - Add Choice Lists so you can set fields from a preset list of choices, instead of typing each time. - Import CSV files to add lists. - Simple to use, yet powerful enough to handle all your lists. NOTES AND TIPS - To show multiple fields in List View. Go to Preferences (the gear icon) while in a list. Change the number of fields in list view to 1, 2, or 3. It will display up to the first 3 fields from each list. - To check off an item, touch to the left of the item in the list. - To delete an item from a list swipe the item and hit the delete button that appears, or touch the Edit button and then touch the red minus sign to the left of the item you want to delete. - To reorder items, touch the Edit button and then drag the items to the order you want. - To add a choice list to a field, add the choice list and choices by touching the choice lists icon in the toolbar, then edit the list and the field you want to associate with the list. Choose "Choice List" for the field type, and then the choice list you want to use for the field format. - To Backup and Restore your data go to the Tools icon and select Backup/Restore to get to the different options. - To Import CSV files go to the Tools icon while on main screen. I'm technologically challenged and, so often, I buy an app that looks good and I get frustrated because I feel like I'm not using it properly or like I have to train myself on it. This app is really easy to use and I use it all the time. It's extremely user friendly and simplifies my life. I wish I'd gotten it sooner! ### 4/5 — Move checked items to the bottom of list *2013-06-29, version 1.3.8* I had the better list app on my blackberry bold. The app allowed a setting that could be turn that would move an item to the bottom of the list when checked. I really enjoyed this feature as the items that were not checked off moved to the top of the screen and the ones checked were moved to the bottom out of the way. I now have an iPhone 5. This feature does not appear to be an option. Although I love this app and will continue to use it I would like to see this option brought back. This is a great way to keep up with your lists and I enjoy using the app. ### 4/5 — Great app *2013-06-09, version 1.3.8* This is a great app. I have used it to create a list of all my books by author, title, date read. Only thing would make it better would be to add all data in list rows without having to save each row first. ### 1/5 — Thought it was free *2011-06-02, version 1.3.8* I saw this app on Freebies App on Memorial Day & it said that is was free if you purchased it on Memorial Day, so I purchased it, yet today I just got charged $2.99 + tax for it. I did use the app & did not like it I like me regular let better thought that their was too much much stuff to put in..for shopping list you have to keep adding the store name to each item if you want to separate the item by store ### 4/5 — Awesome *2011-03-30, version 1.3.6* I'm loving this app. It has tons of uses. ### 5/5 — BetterLists getting even BETTER! *2011-01-28, version 1.3.4* Edited 1/11: I'm really happy to see a backup feature on the new update! I'm curious though, I wonder if I can backup on my iPhone & restore to the iPad, in essence creating two identical lists...? Has anyone tried this? ----------------------- I've enjoyed this app since I first got it, but the updates have made it even MORE user-friendly! The newest update- allowing the lists to show more than one field in list view is exactly what I need in two of my lists. I love that this app hasn't rested on it's laurels but continues to improve! Being able to reorder the lists themselves & now the items within the lists has been worth its weight in the gold. I had no trouble checking off items in the lists, but the box showing precisely where to touch will be helpful to many because, admittedly it did take me a few minutes to figure out where to touch. :) The developer is very open to suggestions to make future updates even more helpful to users which makes this app constantly improving. I find myself using it more & more frequently & migrating more & more of my lists to BetterLists. ### 5/5 — Amazingly versatile, elegant, easy to use *2011-01-21, version 1.3.4* BetterLists is my used app. it is awesomely versatile and creatively adaptable to my needs and imagination. I have and use a "to do" list, a grocery list - arranged by aisle in different grocery stores and so I check off what i need and uncheck items as I put them in my wagon, a birthday list so i remember everyone's birthday, a health check list, an an invoicing to do list - and on and on. Because each list is customizable I use BetterLists any way I want and whenever I can. It has the flexibility, resilience, and user friendly interface so many other apps miss. Bravo to the programmer. Let's have more apps from you! ### 5/5 — BetterLists 1.3.3-- iPad version *2011-01-09, version 1.3.3* The iPad version of Better Lists appears to be identical to the iPhone version. From a visual perspective, it is scaled perfectly. It is so easy to create, edit and manage lists. I can see that the larger scale will be very useful for such tasks as business inventory or record keeping especially from a data entry perspective. ### 5/5 — Finally....a better list! *2010-02-21, version 0* Clean, direct, to the point, with just enough extras.
