## What is Bettertained?

bettertained is your personal taste capsule.

 It's 9pm and you're looking for a movie, series or book to read. Yet, you spent 25 of them scrolling.

That's the problem we wanted to fix so we built bettertained.

Just tell us your mood. Plain words work better than genres. "Something slow and beautiful" is a valid request. You get a handful of real suggestions and each one tells you whether it's already sitting on a service you pay for.

What kind of film person are you? Your taste capsule tells you. A few paragraphs on the patterns you didn't know you had. Import your Letterboxd history and it's ready before you pick your first film.

WHAT'S IN IT
- Say what you're in the mood for. Not a genre. A feeling.
- Import from Letterboxd. Ratings and watched films come across so nothing starts from zero.
- Save what you find. The watchlist holds the titles you'd otherwise forget and every swipe sharpens what comes next. Week three is better than week one.
- See where it's streaming. Netflix, Prime, Disney+, whatever you actually subscribe to. If it's nowhere we say so.
- Built in Europe by a small team in Munich. GDPR by default. We don't sell what you watch. We got tired of choosing a film at 10:15 and starting it at 10:40.
