Scanning now keeps working for the whole session. ### 3.9 — 2026-08-22 Fixed duplicate clock-outs. • Scanning someone out a second time on the same day now tells you they are already clocked out, instead of quietly recording a second clock-out. • The check that catches this was missing it for anyone with a long history of scans, so duplicates could slip through on the Scan All Out screens too. It now works however many times someone has scanned. ### 3.8 — 2026-08-20 Performance and stability improvements to clocking in and out. - Reduced memory build-up when a photo is taken on every scan, which could slow down or interrupt a long run of clock-ins. - Background syncing no longer starts up on the app's main thread, which could make the app stop responding. - Hardened start-up so two background syncs cannot initialise the app at the same time. ### 3.7 — 2026-08-18 Fixed a freeze that could lock the app up when choosing a different site. Taps went unregistered for several seconds beforehand, and the app sometimes had to be force stopped. The camera now starts on the correct lens on handsets that are mounted facing outward, and switching between the front and rear camera is reliable. Faces are read the right way up during a scan, which makes recognition considerably more dependable. If a scan matches the wrong person, you can now flag it straight from the scan screen.
