It’s super easy to set up and use ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — No one gets paid at the end so what’s the point? *2025-06-24* The basic functionality of the app is okay but considering we had to pay $40 out of our own pocket for the “paid betting” feature to work, we were expecting that the winners would get paid at the end. Instead, the app allows you to play and place bets without ever putting any money up. Therefore, when the winners were finally announced, there was no money for the winners too collect. The app said that everyone would pay the winners at the end, but of course no one did, and I don’t know about you, but I don’t wanna spend the day after my wedding trying to chase down 50 different people so that they can Venmo five dollars to somebody they’ve never met. At the end of the day we ended up wasting our money for no reason and I’m really disappointed in that. I’m not entirely sure how the app has so many positive reviews, maybe it’s all people who use the free betting function instead of the paid betting. I would avoid using this app. If you don’t want to get completely scammed out of 40 bucks. **Developer response:** UPDATE: We now have "Treasurer Mode" so couples (or someone they choose) can collect the buy-in amount in advance, and then send the payment directly to the winner(s) after. Couples can still also choose our very popular split-the-pot feature where the couples gets half the winnings too! We appreciate feedback like this so we can improve and grow, and that we did! And, as an FYI, guests can also join right from a browser now. They don’t have to download the app to play. I have tried to update it and it still does not work. The number of our friends who came up to me complaining that I busted their bet was hysterical. Just such a unique way to add to the fun of it all. We set ours up as a 20-bet highest scores takes the pot system mostly for the simplicity of it. The only note I’d have for the developers is for these types of bets, where the users pledge a buy-in for the pot, they should be required to add the buy-in upon joining the event so that way the winner isn’t waiting on other people to finally submit the payment afterwards.
