## What is BettyTime World Clock?

See what time it is for the people who matter to you — instantly, in every city you care about. I made this for my Betty, but you can have it too.

BettyTime is a simple, fast world clock. Pick any time, on any day, and see it converted across all your saved locations at once. Planning a call with family overseas, coordinating a meeting across time zones, or just curious what time it is somewhere else — BettyTime shows you clearly, without the clutter.

FEATURES
 • Add any city or time zone in seconds, with smart search
 • See every saved time zone update together as you change the source time
 • Custom labels — rename a card "Mum" or "Work" instead of a city name
 • Your own time zone is always shown, with a Home badge
 • Day-difference badges make it obvious when a time falls on tomorrow or yesterday
 • Switch instantly between 12-hour and 24-hour display
 • Light and dark themes, matched precisely to your device

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
BettyTime has no accounts, no sign-up, and no backend. It makes no network calls at all. Everything you add is stored only on your device — nothing is ever sent anywhere, tracked, or shared.

Built for anyone whose life crosses time zones: long-distance couples and families, remote teams, frequent travelers, or anyone who just wants a cleaner way to ask "what time is it there?"

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.3 — 2026-09-05

Bettytime now has widgets.

• Home screen — your saved timezones at a glance, west to east, in small and medium sizes
• Lock screen — a compact list, or a ring that fills as the day passes where you are
• Widgets follow your 12/24-hour choice and your phone's light or dark mode

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-03

Setting a time now opens straight on the keyboard, so you can type the time you want.

Tap the clock icon if you prefer the dial.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-08-18

Fixes and improvements from the first round of testing.

• Renaming a card now sticks. A zone you had renamed lost its name as soon as you made it your source time, and it could not be recovered. Names now survive, and any that were already lost are restored.
• Tap any card to make that zone your source time, or press and hold a card and drag it onto the header.
• The app now includes your own timezone from the very first launch, wherever you are.
• Long place names such as "Los Angeles" scale to fit instead of being cut off.
• The tick that saves a renamed card now works.
• The source time is picked out in the accent colour, so it stands apart from the cards below.
