I promise, if you are buying for your baby, you already have enough to do, and this will only make your life worse. After much consternation, we figured out how to sync the scale and the app. This process was insanely hard, and did not even remotely follow the process on the instruction manual. If you choose to continue this, then I hope you have an iPhone. We couldn’t get the app to work on my husband’s phone, because the Android operating system was too new! Yep, too new, not old. We purchased so we could record our baby’s weight in grams so we could ensure that nursing sessions were sufficient. Well, the scale measures in grams, but the app logs it in ounces. Also you cannot manually enter a weight, other than the initial baby/pet profile weight. Also the “statistics” list feeding/sleeping/crying, but there is no way to use this feature, even if we wanted to (we don’t), because there’s no entry mechanism on UI. This app is such a waste of time. ### 1/5 — Cannot register account in app *2023-11-13* App does not work ### 1/5 — Worst app imaginable *2023-09-10* Took me quite a while to figure out the app. Had a few weigh-ins. Was using it to track my pets when they’re sick. My cat passed and now have a new dog I wanted to add in. My cats info is gone, my first dogs info is gone. I have my new cat and that is it. If I had kids it would all be lost. Mad enough losing my puppy’s info. Never going to recommend this product for the app and like another user posted, I couldn’t get the app to sync with the scale either. I was entering info manually. ### 2/5 — Disappointed! *2023-08-23* This app needs work. Synching does not appear to work, transferring measurements/weight does not function nor were we able to pair bluetooth. Scale worked just fine; however, bluetooth and transfer functions not operable! ### 1/5 — Very not user-friendly and a real pain in the a…neck!! *2023-02-16* Scale AND app VERY not user-friendly. AND who wants to login (never mind resetting the password via email because you forgot it) just to add weight and length WHILE the baby is on the scale moving around. Forget about it!!!! ZERO STARS!!! ### 1/5 — Can’t Launch Without Reinstalling *2023-01-02, version 1.4.1* Terrible app that often can’t launch without uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Such a basic “function” screwed up. ### 1/5 — extremely poor quality app *2022-09-11* ux/ui, features, and functionality are all extremely poor .. the app is effectively useless. i want one simple function- to create a log with timestamp and measured weight. instead it is easier (and often/generally necessary to log manually.. which is relatively difficult and unpleasant, itself, in the app. i contemplated returning scale but instead use a third party app with far better features and usability. i would hesitate to even publish this app and perhaps focus instead on open/compatible data transfer or other solution to export the tiny amount of data involved in some useable form. finally the privacy/data practices are unclear, difficult to discern even after substantial research online, and appear to be unnecessarily invasive/overreacting. either make software a focus or simply stick to hw. ### 1/5 — App no longer works *2022-07-25* App was fantastic for keeping track of pet weights, right up until it stopped opening and we could no longer track weight changes. Scale is great, but part of the point was the app and the ability to have tracking done for us. Worth it if they ever get it fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience. ### 1/5 — This app could be great… *2022-07-19, version 1.4* I use this scale and app for my two cats to track their weight. It was going great at first, then something happened to the app where it seemed frozen when I tried to open it. Had to remove it and reload it which caused me to lose all my data. Got it working again and started keeping a backup of my data in my notes app. Thank god I did as the same issue is happening allover again. Not a very reliable app at all which is a shame. Always keep your data tracked elsewhere and don’t bother with this frustrating unstable app. ### 1/5 — App hängt *2022-05-19* Leider bleibt die App seit heute im Startbildschirm hängen, Neustart und Reset des Smartphones ändert auch nichts. Wir entschuldigen uns für die Umstände. ### 1/5 — Would love to rate higher *2022-05-06, version 1.4* I have twins. Using this app with two babies is possible but really not at all friendly. Would be great to be able to see stats on both of them at the same time, rather than having to choose one baby at a time for my timeline to be able to see any of their data. That being said, the app is useless to me since the most recent update. It doesn’t ever open. All I get is the loading screen with the logo. Really disappointing, my scale obviously still works but it is much less helpful without the ability to recall even the most recent measurement without the app. ### 1/5 — Schade *2022-05-01* Die App bleibt nun, nachdem ich die ersten Monate die Daten unseres Babys eingetragen habe, im Startbildschirm hängen. Sorry for the inconvenience. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Incompetent *2026-03-13* This is the first app I’ve ever seen that goes so far out of its way to block password managers, including the one built into iOS. You can’t copy or paste and if you autofill a password it won’t let it be duplicated in the confirmation field. I’ve never seen anything like it - it’s that bad. The only way to setup an account is to manually write down a password and manually enter it (while it obscures what you type regardless of how many times you try clicking on the eye icon.) I guess privacy is not a priority here. Very disappointing. ### 1/5 — Internal error *2026-02-11* Can’t log into map due to internal error constantly. ZERO STARS!!! ### 1/5 — Totally useless *2025-06-13, version 1.5.1* The biggest mistake Beurer made was the hardware was designed to accommodate the software. A single-purpose bluetooth button, and you have to press it to transfer…useless, take a leaf out of slightly more modern apps and make the transfer automatic. App logs you out as well - peak software. ### 1/5 — Terrible app *2025-06-01* Hasn’t been connecting to app. Same issue as previous commentator from 3 years ago! German engineering at its finest. ### 1/5 — Flashing “APP” on startup *2025-03-23* It is most annoying that the scale delays the startup to try to force you to link to the app, which, of course, is blatant data harvesting of out private into if you complete the registration. Worse, it’s gathering info ABOUT OUR BABIES! Get ‘em started young, hey? ### 1/5 — Falsche Timeline *2024-08-04* Uhrzeiten werden, obwohl in Thermometer und Handy richtig eingestellt in der App-Timeline falsch angezeigt. 19.00 Uhr statt 17.00 Uhr etc. Leider ist die App echt nicht gut. Das Thermometer weicht grundsätzlich ca. 0,5 Grad von der Rektalmessung ab. Wäre gut wenn man die Option hätte eine Abweichung oder „angenommene Temperatur“ anzuzeigen. ### 1/5 — Verbesserungsbedarf *2024-02-16* Ich habe die Waage wegen der App/Bluetooth-Funktion gekauft und hätte vorher besser mal die Rezensionen gelesen, auch, wenn es nicht viele sind. Das Koppeln hat recht lang gedauert und brauchte mehrere Versuche. Die App an sich ist auf der einen Seite überschaubar gestaltet, auf der anderen Seite aber auch mit überflüssigen Details versehen (Schlafen, Stillen, Weinen?), da erschließt sich der Sinn einer Statistik nicht. Störend finde ich, dass Fehlmessungen nicht gelöscht werden können, sowohl vor als auch nach dem Zuordnen in der Timeline. Funktioniert lediglich mit der jeweils letzten Messung, was ungünstig ist, wenn man das nicht weiß. Werde die Waage samt App so nicht weiterempfehlen und mich nach einem anderen Gerät umschauen, da ich das Gerät als Haustierwaage nutzen wollte. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — This app is great! *2024-01-23* Transferring to this app from a manual log book. This is fantastic. My only suggestion to the devs would be to allow data points on the statistics graphs to be made interactive. I am so afraid to loose all the weight data I had in the app, it is everything since she was born, I’ve been trying to open the app and nothing it doesn’t open, tried to contact the app support and the page won’t open as well, don’t know what to do at this point so sad if I loose all the data. Beste Grüße Beurer Service Team ### 3/5 — Bought for weighing kittens *2023-04-14* The scale reads in fraction of ounces - for example a new born kitten is 2.63 ounces but the app won’t record the fraction so it’s not helpful for my purposes but seems like a vet easy fix for the next update to add that capability! Please consider this. Thanks! ### 3/5 — Not intuitive *2020-10-12* I’m using the app to track weights of a litter of kittens. Quite annoying to have to go to profile and switch the kitten next to timeline in profile before going back to timeline page to add its weight. Why don’t all the kittens (or babies or whatever) show on the Timeline page? Also the prefilled 3kg weight is just annoying- I’d rather it started at 000. ### 3/5 — Na ja *2020-04-25* Die App ist etwas ambitionslos gemacht finde ich. Man kann Daten importieren (warum eigentlich umständlich über Knopfdruck) und manuell eintragen. Infos gibt es wenige. Warum man, wenn man nur ein Kind hat in der App, jedes mal die daten händisch zuordnen muss - keine Ahnung. ### 3/5 — Abstürze *2019-04-10* Beim Versuch des Löschens einzelner Gewichtsmesswerte stürzt die App ab. De facto sind dann fehlerhafte Werte derzeit nicht löschbar. Man sollte Messwerte etwas unkomplizierter Löschen können, z.B.
