Once setup I find the app/blanket combination reliable but when a programme adjustment is needed as the seasons change the problems begin. For some reason whilst the blanket is locked on to my WiFi the app takes ages to connect & then the connection drops out/comes and goes, so you need the patience of a saint to achieve anything. And it’s two whole years since app was updated - unforgivable! Especially at the price. ### 1/5 — Terrible app for people with disabilities *2022-11-24, version 1.7* If your hands shake forget using this app. It has a slider that you have to attempt to move to increase or decrease the temperature. It isn’t responsive enough to correctly increase or decrease temperature. Das kann man aber tatsächlich auch am Gerät selbst schnell und einfach machen. Alles andere via Mobilphone und App funktioniert einfach nicht. It has never worked, despite trying with 3 different phones and having a multitude of other bluetooth devices in the house. Bitte den Core modernisieren! ### 1/5 — Dreadful *2020-12-13, version 1.6* Oh dear, where to start? If you don’t use this app for a while, such as over the summer, then it forgets your login. Hope you haven’t forgotten it, because it can’t or won’t use keychain. The connection to the under blanket can take anything up to 5 minutes, and sometimes requires the blanket to be rebooted. And in one instance, removal of the app, re-installing and re-pairing with the blanket. That almost failed too. Took 3 attempts to pair with one side of the blanket, and two with the other (the blanket is two independent control units) The app interface is clunky and sluggish, close the app and reopen, it takes another minute or more to find the blanket. Selecting heats can be hit or miss, it frequently refuses to move up a notch. Why can’t I have up and down buttons, instead of a half baked curved slider?? And I’m not particularly enamoured of the way of selecting how long the heating should be on either. The whole thing looks ancient, 1970’s computer hardware colours... not sleek and modern. One star because it still allows me to heat my ancient back in the middle of the night on a schedule. Though I’d really love it if it would interact with IFFT and let me turn it on when the temp sensor says it’s cold in the bedroom.. but no. It is rubbish. Fehler: Soll falsch sein. Ich komme nicht in die App. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-06-13, version 1.7* Having not used the app for several months it’s now asking for a password. I know the password but it says it’s not recognised. There is no option to request a reset and the customer support is lacking. What a waste of money. ### 1/5 — Laaaangsam *2024-01-28, version 1.7* Die App ist übersichtlich gestaltet und macht was sie soll. Aber das was sie macht, macht sie extremst langsam. Man kann die Heizdecke erst dann bedienen, wenn eine Verbindung mit dem Server beziehungsweise mit der Heizdecke besteht. Darauf kann man teilweise bis zu 1 Minute warten. Danach bricht die Verbindung erneut ab und man muss wieder warten, bis man wieder eine andere Einstellung auswählen kann. Wenn man dann noch einen Timer erstellen, dauert es wieder eine Ewigkeit, bis sich die App mit dem Server verbindet und man die Einstellung vornehmen kann. Update 28.01.2024: Es wird immer schlimmer. Jetzt warte ich teilweise schon 3 oder 4 Minuten, bis Kontakt zur Heizdecke aufgenommen werden kann. Und dann bricht der Kontakt auch gerne ab, nachdem ich nur eine Hälfte der Heizdecke eingestellt habe. Und manchmal kommt gar kein Kontakt zustande und ich schalte am Schalter der Heizdecke auf manuelle Steuerung ohne WLAN. Katastrophe. ### 1/5 — Totaler Müll *2023-11-21, version 1.7* DasSmartphone lässt sich nicht verbinden mit der Decke. Nach mehrmaligem Versuch war ich genervt und hab die Decke zurückgeschickt. Ich habe das Gefühl als würde Beurer nichts in den Premium Bereich investieren und sich lieber auf den Preiskampf mit anderen Wärmedecken Herstellern begibt. If you don’t use it for a while it will log you out and if you forget your password you will lose any access to the app. No way to reset your password!! You have to contact customer service to get a new password!! In today’s world you would expect a much better app!! The functionality it offers does not justify the cost!! Ie the flashing "Remote" on the handset and "no connection" on the app. I switched it on and off on both handset & app, unloaded and reloaded the app, removed the blanket from the app & reloaded it, but the issues of no connection persisted. Then, I had an idea to reset my router just in case it had automatically been upgraded in any way by the ISP. (Pressed the tiny reset button for 30 s). Gave it a minute then reloaded the CosyNight app and everything was back to normal. All connections working as they should and everything fully functional. Maybe a slight code change had been loaded onto the router which affected the communication between the CosyNight app and router security?? Hope this helps anyone else with similar issues because when it's all working as it should; it really is a great item. ### 5/5 — Funktioniert *2023-11-13* Ja, die App braucht ca. fünf Gedenksekunden bis die Verbindung zur Heizdecke aufgebaut ist und vielleicht dann nochmal einige Sekunden, bis man die Heizstufe verstellen kann, aber sie funktioniert absolut zuverlässig. Auch der Zeitplan ist sehr variabel einzustellen, der Individualität sind wirklich keine Grenzen gesetzt. Wenn da jemand meckert, dann auf sehr hohem Niveau. ### 5/5 — Klasse *2022-12-14* Ich nutze das Beurer Unterbett mit der App seit knapp einem Jahr. Wärmeunterbett gibt ordentlich Wärme. ### 5/5 — Now Updated *2020-09-24, version 1.5* The story so far: I posted a review here a month ago, as the app had stopped working. Beurer customer service acknowledged the problem and said they were working to fix it ... they seem to have succeeded! Full connectivity has been restored and the ability to control the blanket from anywhere via the app is what sets this blanket apart. But .... a year later and the app is misbehaving again (here have been a couple of updates to ios). It takes longer to connect to the blanket, and although one can set temperature and time, the settings do not ‘stick’ when the app is closed. On reopening it to make adjustments, everything is back to zero. All very dull and I hope another fix is on its way. I’ll leave the rating at 5 stars for now in the hope that it is! ### 5/5 — Bluetooth Probleme *2020-04-09* Es ist wichtig auf das zu achten was die App einem an Infos gibt. Hätte man das in der Beschreibung aufgeführt, gäbe es wohl weniger Probleme. Zum aktiven von Bluetooth reicht es nicht aus den Schalter einzuschalten, es müssen noch die beiden unteren Tasten für 5sek. Gleichzeitig gedrückt werden. Ich denke das übersehen einige die Probleme mit der Verbindung haben. Ansonsten kann ich von überall auf die Decke zugreifen, über Alexa jedoch zu kompliziert. ### 5/5 — App fixed *2019-09-28, version 1.3* Working again, superb ### 4/5 — Soweit alles OK ... *2019-11-11* ... Einrichtung der App ohne Probleme, anmelden gibt auch flott und dann kam das Erstellen der Zeitpläne ... ich weiß nicht, wie es auf den „normalen“ iPhones aussieht, aber beim XS Max verschwinden die Buttons links und rechts oben so weit, dass sie unter der Uhrzeit, oder z.B. dem iOS Suchen Button liegen. Nur mit filigraner Fingertechnik und einigem Fluchen gelingt es so einen Zeitplan zu speichern: da sollte man die Knöpfe nochmal 5 mm nach unten setzen 😉 ### 4/5 — Version 1.3 - It’s finally working! *2019-09-28, version 1.3* So great to be able to use this app to control my blanket.
