Figured it was a compatibility issue with mine when setting it up and once i did that, it worked fine. Might he stupid in 2026 but hey, it is what it is. However, my experience with the Beurer FreshHome app on iOS has been extremely disappointing. After downloading the latest version of the app and creating an account, I encountered a major issue: the app gets stuck after logging in. It just keeps loading, sometimes for over 30 minutes, without ever getting into the app. This means I can't use the purifier's smart features at all. Despite multiple attempts and plenty of patience, the FreshHome app is simply not working in Saudi Arabia. This has left me unable to use the LR500 as intended. I hope this issue gets resolved soon, or I'll have no choice but to return the device. I’ve contacted Beurer H/O customer service and they are equally as useless as the app. They are apparently working on the connecting issues. ### 1/5 — Fails to register device *2026-05-13, version 1.7.1* I have a new LR400. Pairing to the app worked fine the first time. Later I turned the device off and then on again, and found that the app could not connect to the device. Pairing again fails too: the device is visible via bluetooth, and clearly on my network responding to pings, but the app never gets past the “Connection to server is being established” stage, and often errors out at the stage. ### 1/5 — Sehr schlechte WLAN Verbindung *2026-05-11, version 1.7.1* An und für sich ein schickes Teil, leider verliert das Teil ständig die Verbindung zum Server wo durch die App Steuerung echt sch**** ist. Freue mich auf ein konstruktives Update! Problem gelöst: in der Fritz!Box muss man anhaken... alle Verbindungen zulassen! Nach den ersten Wochen Erfahrung bin ich voll zufrieden Top + Hocheffizienter HEPA Filter Sehr leise je nach Leidtungsstufe Bei Bedarf dreht er aber wie benötigt voll auf Bsp. beim Kochen (Fettphrasen) Er zeigt an: Temperatur 🤒 Feinstaub Belastung (u.a. Staub, Polen) 🌾 Luftfeuchtigkeit ☀️💦 WLAN & Blootooth Anwendung möglich Ich kann also von unterwegs schön das Gerät auf Höchststufe stellen und komme dann in eine frische und saubere Wohnung Ich habe deutlich weniger Staub in der Wohnung und sicher auch in der Lunge 😃 Bislang habe ich noch keine Nachteile entdeckt. Fazit: Der LR 500 ist zwar nicht günstig aber in jedem Fall sein Geld wert.
