Covering over 700 separate dose regimens (for over 440 different drugs) this is a complete reference for any veterinarian treating horses.

This mobile formulary is intended for Veterinary Professionals, including veterinarians, veterinary students, veterinary nurses, veterinary technicians and veterinary pharmacists and pharmacologists. Both the British Equine Veterinary Association (BEVA) and Equine Veterinarians Australia (EVA) also offer this App free to their members as part of their membership benefits package.

• The database of drugs is updated at least every 3 months. • The emphasis is on quality of information and this App details the drug doses we actually use together with a reference for the dose.
• Drugs can be searched for by generic name or alternative name, including many trade names. Incorporates a handy dose calculator function (with the dose range automatically filled in) to generate the correct dose for any individual patient as well as a continuous infusion calculator for drugs such as lidocaine, insulin and many others.
• Notes are provided for every drug, and user notes can also be added to each drug

It stopped working about a year ago, so I removed it. I saw there were updates, so downloaded it again; now the app says I can’t use it unless I have a BEVA membership. I have never had a BEVA membership and I don’t think it would be useful to our practice in Canada. This is the second app from this author that has changed to either a membership or subscription without prior notice. **Developer response:** This App is exclusive for BEVA members - and has been since the day of its release. If you had access at one point without BEVA membership, it was clearly a bug which has been fixed. Our paid version of this App, Equine Drugs, has been changed to subscription to support the frequent database updates, improved features and updating for new phones and iOS versions. Those who already had the App received all database updates without subscription in 2018, along with a warning that it was changing to subscription in 2019.
