Maybe add dark theme please? *2022-07-03* Developers only reply to people they know. 00,04/ Weds 24 Feb 21/ Bewilderword is a favourite and we compete when able, although with migraines (me) and cluster headaches (friend) there’s times when one or both of us can’t look at the screen. / 🌷 Sean, could you consider a dark theme option please on opening page & calendar views? Maybe slate grey? It would be the cherry 🍒 on the ice cream. kind regards. ### 4/5 — I like it but… *2021-11-09* It’s a great time killing game that I feel gives my retired brain a bit of a morning workout. My only gripe is that sometimes foreign words are allowed and sometimes not. Otherwise I’d have given it 5 stars. Well worth the small fee, especially as it goes right back to Jan 2012 so plenty of games to work through. ### 3/5 — Weird English rules *2021-08-27* Doesn’t accept “binge” but “amigo” is fine?! ### 4/5 — Fix the jerkiness! *2020-12-31* This is my absolute favorite game and has been for a long time, but I wish you could make the letters move more smoothly. The jerkiness is distracting. ### 4/5 — Almost Perfect *2018-10-31* I normally don't like word games, I have dysgraphia, and spelling has always been a problem for me. I don't know how much this game is helping my spelling but between my mom and I we can almost always get a 100% on each puzzle!! Two problems I have with the game are: One, there needs to be a way to sync the game, so that you could play on both your phone, and tablet!! Please!! Two, there have been a number of words that have seemed VERY odd! Some seem to be two words, while other just sound wrong to the ear. Other than that it is a great game!! ### 4/5 — Great *2018-04-08* Another great game from this developer. Just a couple of problems. First, it sometimes demands US spellings even when in UK mode. Second, since the last update, it is no longer possible to recall all the tiles from the area where you try to construct a word, just by double tapping next to them. Now you have to recall them by double tapping on each individual letter. That is tedious and could usefully be fixed please. ### 3/5 — Enjoy it; but, family share broken *2018-02-03* Really enjoy the game. Especially in the morning over coffee with the wife; however when we wanted more had to be individually even though the developer says it supports the “family sharing” Apple Store feature. ### 4/5 — Favourite *2017-08-30* I've loved this game for so long and have re-downloaded it a couple of times so I can do it all over again. After the latest update, however, I really don't like the jerky motion of the tiles - it has really put me off playing the game. It's disappointing, because I think this developer is great, and I frequently check to see if he has anything new to try. Seriously take a look at Bonza - one free puzzle every day, and you can buy more if you want to. I like the game ok, but I don't like it enough to "pay rent" by the month for the game. It only provides a mere few minutes entertainment to complete a game, and is certainly not worth the price the developer has stipulated. There are a whole lot of games out there that many of us play on a daily basis, month in and month out. Can you just imagine if Mahjong Artifacts, Doodle Jump, Tiny Wings, Angry Birds, or some of the better card games decided to charge us each and every month for the privilege of playing their games? LOL The developer did get one thing right for sure. This game is appropriately named, as it is quite "bewildering" when you consider the ridiculous overpricing and the lack of replay value due to boredom of seeing the same crosswords over and over again. :( ### 2/5 — VERY FRUSTRATING GAME *2023-06-05* Love WordStorm, but not this one. JanJ4 ### 2/5 — Interesting game, but... *2012-04-22* The description actually says that the object of the game is to find ALL the words that can be made. In my first game I made 3 words, which brought up a note on the screen indicating each time that I entered a valid word, "but not part of the solution." So the game ACTUALLY is to find only the words that the developer(s) say you should find. As a word-game lover, this takes much of the enjoyment out of it... ### 3/5 — Fails to Load on iOS 15 *2021-09-21* Good game but crashes immediately when trying to open the app after the recent iOS update. Hope it is updated soon… ### 5/5 — I bought it and . . . *2020-11-19* Ok. The free puzzles were, say, at one a day, only a few months worth. I liked the game. Each word you insert gives you clues to the harder ones. Easy to get stuck, and, eureka!, find your way put. Just enough of a challenge,and satisfying to get it done. So I bought the game. Five bucks or so. And . . . only ten years worth of puzzles! Ok, If you do 2 a day, only five years, but still . . . Ok seriously. A great little game and a definitely NOT greedy price. Very, very nice work, Mr. Sean. :) ### 5/5 — Spring for the Whole thing *2020-05-14* Updating as of May 2020: I bought the whole thing for around $5.00 or so. It’s such a fun game and buying it gave me every single puzzle back to 2010 or something. I’m making my way through day by day. It should take me awhile. The one quirk I would like to see addressed is that the developer is obviously from the UK. Some words are mixed as being slang or colloquialism; I’ve lived with that. But then he should also not use British terms that are slang or colloquialisms in the US. It should work both ways. I still love it and play till my eyeballs hurt on some days. It’s exactly my cup of tea. Previous Review: It is actually quite a fun game, but I agree with the first review - the price is steep. It can be like feeding an addiction. There should be a better way for the developers to make their money back… I guess I'll exhaust the “free” set and be done with it. Pity; I was so enjoying the game. ### 5/5 — Daily fix! *2019-04-04* I play this super word game everyday, but Sean, what’s wrong with seahorse/s today? April 4th. **Developer response:** I used a dictionary I found online to generate the puzzles, and I guess they considered it to be spelled "Sea horse" rather than "Seahorse". BTW I play every day and I have done since Feb 2017 - it's the only one of my games I regularly play! ### 5/5 — Bewilderword *2018-04-22* Love this game. I like that there's no timer so you can come back to it when you have a spare few minutes. And the elation when you score 100% for the day!!!
