## What is Bewirtung Belegscanner?

BelegScan helps document German business meal receipts on iPhone: scan the restaurant receipt, review AI-assisted extraction, add attendees and business purpose, link a calendar event, and export a structured PDF for accounting and tax advisory workflows.

The app is built around the German Bewirtungsbeleg workflow, including the Eigenbeleg that documents the business purpose and attendees for a meal.

NEW: DIGITAL EIGENBELEG AUTHORIZATION

BelegScan supports the “required authorization” workflow for digital Eigenbelege described in the German Federal Ministry of Finance (BMF) guidance dated 19 November 2025 on business meal expenses (§ 4 para. 5 sentence 1 no. 2 EStG).

When exporting a PDF, the app records the approving name, approval timestamp, export revision, and snapshot hash. Later edits are handled as new export revisions, so corrections remain traceable instead of silently replacing a previous export.

Papierkram nervt mich schon ewig. Habe lange eine passende App gesucht. Dann dachte ich, dass ich endlich eine gefunden habe, leider funktioniert es echt unzuverlässig. Habe verschiedene Belege mit unterschiedlichem Licht versucht. Kam immer Mist dabei raus. Sehr schade.

Ich habe wirklich viele Apps getestet, die das Ausfüllen von Bewirtungsbelegen erleichtern sollen – und bin am Ende doch wieder beim händischen Ausfüllen gelandet, weil jede ihre Schwächen hatte.

Diese App ist jedoch eine echte Ausnahme: Foto machen, und die Analyse läuft erstaunlich präzise. Restaurant, Adresse, Betrag, MwSt – alles wird zuverlässig erkannt und korrekt übernommen. Selbst bei einem Beleg, auf dem ich den Restaurantnamen nur handschriftlich ergänzt hatte, hat es funktioniert.

Besonders praktisch: bewirtete Personen und Anlässe werden gespeichert, was den Prozess zusätzlich beschleunigt.

Unterm Strich spart uns die App spürbar Zeit und funktioniert dabei endlich so, wie man es sich wünscht.

Durch meine Begeisterung musste ich jetzt meine erste Rezension verfassen.
