The clues don’t work and even the online walkthroughs are of no use! Make sure your game actually works before you start charging $6.99! I have an Apple receipt for a game of the same title dating back to September of 2017. The game description seems familiar. Is this an updated version of the 2017 game, and what is different? I would appreciate a response, as there will be a handful of other old-time players who might come to the same realization. Thank you in advance. ### 4/5 — Fun but …. *2026-08-23* I freely admit I’m not a particularly gifted game player. I’m solid on hops, not so much on puzzles. More complex games, like the Beyond series, are challenging and sometimes frustrating for me. I learned on Light Advent to use the guide and hints most all the time and under those circumstances I came to really enjoy the experience. This entry in the series requires the same approach for me and with the guide/hints there’s much to appreciate. That said, there is one aspect that I find very annoying. Let me preface by saying I am a big fan of Friendly Fox and MadHead, so there’s very little overall that I would criticize but the use of “what should I do now” for game guidance is just downright lazy. Give a hint, a real hint for goodness sake. Once in awhile then what should I do is ok. But it’s standard all through the game and after a while it detracts and lessens the fun. So that’s my rant. If you’re looking for a game that combines fascinating storytelling—including advanced technology and space travel—with mesmerizing scenery and action-packed gameplay, look no further. It’s your son’s birthday, but it’s quickly ruined when a secret is revealed to him, causing him to run away. You set out to find him and discover the truth behind his origin. You will be captivated by exquisite visuals while traveling into outer space, such as vibrantly colored stars and galaxies. You will visit an otherworldly universe, teeming with Utopian-like floating islands, and explore a futuristic city where you need to fight off an evil galactic warlord. The characters are richly developed, with their own backstories coming to light. The environmental designs are imaginative and surreal, evincing a cinematic experience, like I’m watching a movie. One interesting aspect that often materializes, and which pays homage to Madhead’s unique mechanical approach, is that the storyline is progressed through clicking on side-by-side panels. You engage in solving intricately layered hidden object scenes and puzzles which tie together the storyline and provide aid in the navigation of your journey. As usual, transition is seamless and free of glitches.
