## What is BeyondAwake?

BeyondAwake is the alarm that keeps coming back until you're actually up.

It rings on silent, in Focus, after a force-quit and after a restart. Swipe it away and it comes back within a minute, until the mission is done. That is the whole idea: you cannot turn it off in your sleep, so you get up.

HOW IT WORKS
Set an alarm and pick a wake-up mission. When it rings, the only way to stop it is to finish the mission: solve three math problems, scan an object across the room, walk a set number of steps, or do push-ups the camera counts. None of them can be done from under the covers, half-asleep.

IT ACTUALLY RINGS
The alarm not going off is the reason most people give up on alarm apps. BeyondAwake rings on silent and through Focus, survives a force-quit and a restart, and if you swipe it away it comes back within a minute. The built-in Setup Check runs through permissions, volume and Focus before you sleep, so you know it will ring before you need it to.

BUILT FOR CHRONIC SNOOZERS
- Missions: Math, Object Scan, Steps, Push-ups, Dance, Sky Photo and more
- A no-snooze streak that only counts the days you actually scheduled
- Setup Check so you know it will ring before you sleep
- Runs on iPhone and iPad
- No ads

If you have ever swiped off an alarm half-asleep and gone straight back to bed, you already know willpower does not work at 7am. Your brain is foggy for the first ten minutes after waking. BeyondAwake is built for that ten minutes.

BeyondAwake is a subscription. The yearly plan starts with a 7-day free trial; the monthly plan is billed from the first day. The price for your country is shown in the app before you pay. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; you can manage or cancel anytime in your App Store account settings.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.9 — 2026-10-09

• Sleep tracking now picks up restless nights, loud moments and tossing and turning, as well as snoring and talking.
• Missions show a timer line. Stop for too long and the alarm comes back.
• Get a quiz question wrong and it comes back until you get it right.
• Wake-up Check: type the phrase with letter tiles.
• App blocking stays on all night, and "At a set time" now works with or without an alarm.
• Removed a mission by mistake? Tap Undo.
• Bolt Run is now Lane Dash, and push-ups and squats can get a little harder each week.
• Now in Spanish for Spain, plus fixes for larger text sizes.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-10-07

Hi, I've renamed the app! AlarmQuest is now BeyondAwake.

Here's what else is new:
- A sound switch on the mission screen. Keep the alarm quiet while you solve it, or let it play if that keeps you moving.
- The time is now the biggest thing on the ringing screen, so you can see it at a glance.
- Emergency shutoff (30 shakes) is on, and you can turn it off in Settings if you want no way out.
- The app now speaks Italian, Slovak and Slovenian.
- Lots of small fixes in settings and sleep sounds.

If anything feels off, tap Report a bug in Settings and I'll read it.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-10-01

Alarm sounds are now grouped by type, so the gentle ones are easy to find instead of buried under the sirens.

Push-up and squat missions tick on every rep you complete, so you can hear your count without looking.

A reminder now arrives before your free trial ends, on its own screen, so nothing is a surprise.

If alarms are blocked in iOS Settings, the Today screen tells you straight away instead of failing silently at 7am.

Fixes: the object scan screen no longer offers the same escape twice, and the scan target is recorded correctly.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-09-28

AlarmQuest now speaks ten languages — German, French, Spanish, Japanese, Dutch, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Portuguese, across the whole app.
Your streak is safer: protection days cover a missed morning, and a broken streak can be repaired.
Plus a livelier mascot and plenty of small fixes.

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-25

When your alarm comes back after you swipe it away, the lock screen now tells you which return it is and how many are left, so you know it isn't going to give up. Plus small fixes.
