But the app is really poor, constantly buffering when watching something on catch up. The support section provides a false email so you can’t request any support. The catch up often cuts off the last 5 minutes of a program and starts playing another film. The TV guide is so difficult to use it is the least user friendly app I have ever tried to use. It’s currently saying that I am in the UK - I most definitely am not - so cannot access any TV services. ### 1/5 — Broken app *2025-09-27, version 3.0.1* App seams to just buffer or bug out and seems to think you’re still in the uk when you’re clearly not. Over the last couple months I am now experiencing a header that simply states ‘unable to play stream’. This app is quite frankly a disgrace. It is currently impossible to log in. When I try to log in, it tells me I must submit more information but then just returns me to the log in screen. When I try to register it takes me to the defence gateway login. Of course, like any streaming service, it needs a decent internet connection. Even with a good broadband connection the quality of the picture has a 1990’s feel to it. This is fine though, as I don’t see it as service intended to compete with Netflix, Apple or Amazon, more of a better than nothing service to those overseas to watch UK tv, and in that regard it’s fine. Still working with my MAC using 1.58. Great App for watching live UK TV and a limited “catch-up” service. Good spread of channels for all interests. ### 4/5 — Reach back to the UK *2019-01-28* Great reach back to the UK for a daily fix of TV, however it’s a shame an app is not available for Apple TV, as having to HDMI it into my TV all the time is crazy. Not sure what they’re (BFBS/SSVC) worried about if you are on LFS/overseas tour you should be able to watch it however suits you.
