For example in SB 11.5.41 the purport in this app ends ... perform elaborate (also there are ommissions in between the purport). Next important line or two are omitted (actually purport ends with.... (perform elaborate sacrifices, austerities and charity and fulfill all of the obligations mentioned above. Otherwise, one becomes completely sinful and condemned, even from the material point of view.). I have done a lot of Sanskrit typing on Mac with chhandas.ttf and they come out excellent. The only problem is that with the recent iOS shift, the copy and past feature doesn’t work on any device, iPad or iPhone. It’s great to have all this information in one place and the presentation is fine. However there are some major setbacks for me. Not being able to use the app in spit screen multitasking is a real disqualification. The search option doesn’t work well (example, I have tried searching the word “Krishna” and been told there are no results!). Finally, as has been mentioned in an other review, I can no longer copy and paste since ios11. I want this app to be the best on my iPad but at present it really needs updating. Most apps on your phone and iPad are updated every few weeks at the very least but the last time the developer spent any time on this was 3 years ago. Copy and paste has not worked in a long time. The app loses it place. Search does not work properly. My previous 3 star rating: It is disappointing that the app is not updated regularly for bugs, it was not a free app. The copy doesn’t always work and there are other issues. Absolute ease of navigation, option to read only the Sanskrit text or only the translation and purport. The English translation for each and every Sanskrit word is also a great way to learn meanings of many Sanskrit words. There are typos in Sanskrit and also the way certain devnagari letters are shown.
