## What is BHGC Build?

The official bird building application of the Bird Hat Grift Club!

Fallen in love with the BHGC birds, but morally opposed to NFTs? Then you've come to the right place! With BHGC Build-A-Bird you can create your own bird, complete with hat, and free of any blockchain badness. Save them to your photo library, share them with your friends - do anything you like except mint them as NFTs.

## Version history (last 2 releases)

### 2.1 — 2026-09-26

We've taken the core functionality, and rebuilt the entire app from scratch, making it much more robust and taking advantage of modern iOS frameworks and APIs.

In addition, we've added the common name, Linnaean name, and background story for each bird. These can be exported with your custom Birds (with hats), either as part of the image or as extra items. To make your creations extra special, you can also export them as trading cards!

Editing has been moved off to its own sheet to remove the clutter from the main screen.

And finally, we've added a gallery of all the officially minted Birds (with hats).

### 1.0 — 2022-08-27
