## What is Bi Bible?

Bi Bible: Read Scripture in Two Languages, Side by Side

Bi Bible is a bilingual Bible reading app built for daily reading, deeper study, and translation comparison, all in a clean, distraction-free interface.

Read two versions at once
Place two Bible versions side by side and compare them verse for verse. Choose from KJV, NLT, YLT, Igbo, French, Yoruba and more versions to download.

Ask questions in plain language
AI-powered search lets you type a question like "What does the Bible say about hope?" and get the most relevant verses, running fully offline and on-device, with no account and no data leaving your phone (opt-in ~35 MB download; KJV).

Find any passage instantly
Type a reference like Genesis 1:2-4, John 3:16, or Psalm 23 to jump straight there. Single verses, ranges, and lists are all supported. Prefer typing? Turn on the natural-language reference bar and open passages with a quick tap or dictation, offline and with no download.

Search with precision
Search words and phrases, and narrow results by book range (whole Bible, Old, or New Testament), version, and word-matching options.

Study tools that stay with you
- Bookmarks and notes: save verses and add your own reflections
- Categories: organise bookmarks into colour-coded groups and filter by them
- Highlighting: paint verses in colours that stay legible in light, dark, and sepia
- Cross-references: tap a verse to open related passages ranked by relevance (opt-in ~3.6 MB, works offline; data from OpenBible.info, CC BY 4.0)
- Similar verses: find passages with a related meaning, ranked on your device
- Linked notes: references you type in a note (like "cf. Romans 8:28") turn into tappable links straight to the passage
- Search your own study: full-text search across just your notes and highlights

Memorise Scripture
Save verses to a memory deck and practise with fill-in-the-blank word-bank cards on a light spaced-repetition schedule, with an optional reminder when cards are due.

Build a reading habit
- Reading plans: follow self-paced plans like Bible in a Year, Gospels in 30 Days, or New Testament in 90 Days, or build your own from the books and pace you choose
- Continue reading: jump back to where you left off, right from the home screen
- Reading streak and goal: keep a daily streak and set a chapters-per-day goal
- Daily verse reminder: get the verse of the day at a time you choose
- Reading history timeline: revisit what you've read, grouped by day
- Prayer and gratitude journal: keep dated entries, optionally tied to a verse

Comfortable to read
Pick a serif or sans-serif reading font, adjust line spacing, and choose a warm sepia theme alongside light and dark modes and font-size controls. Fonts render every non-English scripture beautifully.

Your data, backed up
Back up and restore your bookmarks, notes, highlights, reading history, journal, and preferences to your own Google Drive, under your control.

Share the Word
Copy or share any verse with verse numbers included, create a styled verse image to share, or invite others straight into a reading plan with a link.

Whether you're reading for devotion, studying across translations, or comparing Scripture in two languages, Bi Bible keeps everything simple, accessible, and mostly offline.
