The latest version of BIAS Amp and BIAS FX are working together again. Please download the updates on AppStore and try it out. You will have no problem importing the amps now! ### 4/5 — Issues with iOS 16 *2023-03-10, version 2.1.14* As was mentioned in the last review, Bias 2 is an amazing app, and I like its tones and functionality more than any other app I’ve used. And it’s integration with the Bias amps makes for a completely unique system, and the Bias Mini is my favorite hardware amp now. Except Bias 2 does not work as an IAA plug-in with any app I’ve used (Cubasis 3, AUM), and will no longer operate with the Bias Mini amp, with iOS 16. It all worked fine before iOS 16. Sooooo the app just started crashing on launch, tried everything, offloading and reinstalling it to hopefully keep all my custom presets…still kept crashing and had no choice but to completely reinstall. Immediate crash upon opening comes up then crash’s. This app is great when it works but lately it has not been. Developers need to address this issue and quickly. ### 1/5 — Highly unstable after buying IAP *2024-08-22, version 2.1.15* Worked great for the first few days…. As soon as I hit the buy button for the Glassy Amp IAP, the audio glitched causing a painfully loud screeching sound. Bias Amp 2 and Bias FX 2 has been highly unstable ever since. Tried deleting app and re-installing which did not fix anything. Tried on a new M4 IPad as well as a 2018 IPad, and had similar issues on both. Adjusting amp setting in Bias Amp 2 will sometimes trigger a loud screeching audio glitch… If I leave Fx2 to adjust the amp in Bias Amp 2, when I return to Bias FX2 the audio no longer works ie. Won’t output sound. Be very careful if using headphones, those super loud audio glitches could cause hearing damage…. Super disappointed with this one, lots of potential but just doesn’t work properly. No sound comes out of my audio interface. Better sound, easy to see/use, and the amp details allow me to get the sound I am looking for. ### 5/5 — Insanely Good *2023-02-08, version 2.1.14* Update 2023: Unfortunately this app no longer works on my iPad since operating to iOS 16. Customer support said they were opening an investigation, but I have not heard back since. The app still opens and functions properly, but it won’t integrate with GarageBand or Auria, so I can’t use it for recording, just practicing along with songs. Way way better than Line 6 for line in recording, though I haven’t tried out any of the Helix stuff. Right out of the box, the Marshall, Fender, and Orange amp sims sound really good, and I’ve owned a Fender Deluxe Reverb and an Orange Rockerverb and done recordings in professional studios with them. The mic placement setting works great too, which is pretty mind blowing since it tends not to work on other gear I’ve owned, and actually sounds like what would happen in real life. If you buy the full version, you can move the mic further away which allows you to really dial in the tone you want. I can’t say enough good things about this app; out of 5 stars, it deserves 10. ### 5/5 — Great app, but… *2023-01-17, version 2.1.14* 1/15/23. I just upgraded my iPad Pro to version 16.2 and now the app won’t open. It instantly crashes. Edit…uninstalled the app and reinstalled…works perfect. ### 5/5 — This new version is garbage… *2022-12-16, version 2.1.14* I’ve been running BIAS Amp for almost ten years and never had an issue, except obsolescence on my old iPad. So, I upgraded to a fancy new 9th gen iPad with all the bells and whistles and while I was at it upgraded BIAS Amp 2 to take advantage of all the latest features…now the app isn’t working right. The interface is working, I get signal, but none of the tone controls or selection features work and I also get clipping and noise….which they say this latest version fixed. BIAS Amp 2 still works perfect on the old iPad, and it works great on my newer iPhone, but it is completely botched on the new iPad. Am happy to say it just worked. My Ur22mkII interface has 2 channels and in setting I was given the choice of which one or both which is needed as channel 2 has the hi Z input.
