My kids really love it. You could play this from anywhere and just tell the app to use a slide a swing and a bridge as items in the game. That said it’s not fair to judge this game based on what would be a much cooler app they just didn’t built. It’s 2021 ... there should be an AR interactive game like this. We have limited Biba parks but use it at home or set up for public park play. ### 2/5 — Wrong info *2019-07-28* Playground where I first saw and learned of BIBA is not on their map of playgrounds - so wasn’t able to fully use the app. So I went to a playground that was listed as a BIBA playground on their app - it turned out it wasn’t. I’m so confused why the app would tell me where BIBA playgrounds are and when we show up they aren’t and we can’t use the app. Hope this info gets back to the support team and they update the maps. **Developer response:** Hi there and thanks for your comment! We actually just updated the app today with a fix that correctly distinguishes Biba playgrounds from regular playgrounds--so that part should be coming to an update near you! But also, if you are a Biba playground--even if it's not on the map--everything still works! You can definitely fully use the app. But also as note--Biba games can also be played on any playground. You just won't be able to use the AR tag interactions at regular sites! Best, --The Biba Team ### 1/5 — Insanely Large Download. *2019-07-06, version 3.7* After you download the initial 350 mb app you have to download every game individually and wait for them to load. It’s a must to download every game before taking your children to the park to have the app ready. The loading screens are also extremely long. ### 5/5 — Real Nice *2019-04-21* With the bug fixes and all my kid and I can play without a doubt the game will fail. Though I’m not sure if other people with let’s say an android can have the same experience with the game working flawlessly. But overall, this game is PERFECT for my iPhone. They don’t need another app to show them how to play. Your kid is actually outside at a playground, put the screen AWAY and let your kid play. Independently, like they need to in order to learn and grow as a human. The app itself is cute and decent, we played a game, but it controlled and structured how my kid used the playground equipment. Instead of letting them investigate and come up with their own creative play. The app is good, but playgrounds are the wrong environment for them to be introduced. ### 1/5 — Not the greatest game *2022-08-25, version 5.2* Seems to have been an unfortunate experience for us Canadians as this game hasn’t fulfilled my needs in entertainment. Part of the game seems to be in expense, which is not something I can afford. The park is partially a disappointment and I am disappointed. The app had poor layout in which I wasn’t satisfied and more or less sad. I cannot stress enough how much anger this game brings me. I saw the app advertised on my local playground. I figured I’d have a bit of fun. I did not have any fun at all. I made the foolish mistake of downloading cops and robbers. It was not a game of cops and robbers, it was a game of survival. The cops always win. No matter what I do, the cops always win. I have thrown my phone across the house numerous times due to frustration. This game is the bane of my existence. The robbers do not do anything. They just sit there like paralyzed apes and wait for the cops to come. The only thing getting robbed was me of my time. If I could, I would set my phone ablaze in order to rid the world of this game. But, alas, the destruction of my phone would not do any of that. I wake up in cold sweats at night thinking about this game. I have nightmares about this game. I have genuine night terrors about this game. I am unable to connect with other human beings because of what this game has done to me. Biba playground games has ruined my life. I am no longer the man I used to be after playing this game. I wouldn’t wish this upon my worst enemy. It is truly that bad. The only reason this game has a one star rating is because the App Store refuses to let me give apps a -5 star rating. ### 1/5 — This game sucks balls *2021-07-02, version 5.1* This game is literally cancer ### 1/5 — Bad idea *2021-06-06* Kids saw a sign for this and asked me to pay. I thought it might be an fun way to make the playground more interactive but it ended up being the opposite. Big mistake. It’s a trap. You bring kids to a playground so they don’t look at screens but the app makes you play more with the screen than the playground itself. So kids wanted to watch the screen more than play in the playground. Don’t download this unless you want kids to be having screen time. ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2020-11-27, version 4.2* Too much looking at the phone. Not enough play. Doesn’t encourage exploration and self directed play. The playground didn’t have sufficient equipment to properly play. (Missing coloured features the children were supposed to find) it advertises itself to be something that encourages kids to move their bodies but is 90% looking at my phone at a playground when the kids have no problem moving their bodies when there isn’t the phone involved. I had hoped it would be a way to learn to find things to do with existing equipment but it’s just phone games, that they want money for, rather than creative and healthy play time.
