UPDATE: It just keeps getting better. Have owned this app for years and they keep making it better and better. Best Bible app for iOS by far, way to go Olive Tree Tram! What a great update to a wonderful Bible app. I use this all the time to study and read the Word. It’s my favorite app, and the newest update is wonderful. I like the new look, and I’m really thankful can go full screen again for reading, the floating pop up reference bar at the top was bad when it wouldn’t go away. Now that it hides too it’s perfect. Great work Olive Tres Bible!

Excellent for bible study
I have been using the Olive Tree bible study app since way back in the Palm Pilot days, and it just keeps getting better! Over the years, I have built up a great reference library, and the app makes it really easy to make full use of those resources. I can open a 2nd window on my iPad and have a commentary next to the bible and can sync the windows so if I scroll to another verse, the commentary (or another translation) scrolls as well. Or I can tap a verse to highlight it or add a note. The recent update that added the “compare” option is wonderful - when I tap that I see that verse in every other translation that I have installed. That list can be arranged in the order I prefer and I can choose what translations appear in the list. Recent updates to Strong’s versions are also super helpful for word studies. Also it now has smart search so instead of an exact match search, I can search “what verse talks about being one in Christ” - amazing!All my highlights and notes are automatically synced to my other devices. I cannot recommend this app enough!

I've been using Olive Tree for over 10 years now and I love it! I use it more than any other app, hands down. I use it as my main Bible source on my iPhone, iPad, and laptop with ease. It has clearly helped me grow spiritually. You won't be disappointed with Olive Tree.

I bought this app in 2009 and it has never failed me. It holds every sermon and Bible study note and highlight. I recommend it to everyone.

Great resource
This app is the best app for your smart device. It has many more features and resources then just a Bible. Reading plans are a great way to stay in the Word and to keep yourself on track with any daily, weekly or yearly reading plan.

Highlight and leave notes
I love that I can highlight and underline scripture and also take notes. I have an iPod and an iPhone and the both talk to each other. If I’m taking notes and making highlights it updates both devices. This Really helps me when I am watching a sermon from our church on YouTube. I can go to church and hear the teaching. Then i can go home and watch the sermon on YouTube and take notes. Also what is great is I can pause the service and write down my notes. It’s hard for me to write and keep listening at the same time. Thanks, Raymond

HIDING THE WORD
“Thy Word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against Thee.” The Bible at my fingertips through this ESV Translation and a couple of others has given me a priceless resource. I go to Scripture here and several other ways. Growing closer to Jesus…Staying there, is becoming exciting and comforting more every day. World events send me here. The comfort, the assurance is that as I focus on obedience my life is pleasing God.
