## What is Bible Associations Puzzle Game?

Find the hidden connections in Scripture.

Bible Associations gives you a grid of scrambled tiles — people, places, objects, events and quotations — with groups hidden among them. Swap tiles until a row holds four that belong together, and the row locks when it does. "Pillar of Salt". "Red Stew". "Coat of Many Colours". The moment a theme reveals itself is the whole game.

HOLD A ROW FOR THE SCRIPTURE
Every finished row has a reason, and the reason is a verse. Hold a completed row and the passage behind it opens, in the Berean Standard Bible. These are not trivia questions written around a verse: each puzzle is generated from a knowledge graph of Scripture and verified to have exactly one solution.

530 LEVELS, AND A NEW PUZZLE EVERY DAY
The road starts gently — levels 1 to 5 are sixteen tiles and four groups — then opens out to twenty-four tiles and six groups from level 6 onward. Alongside the levels, a fresh Daily Puzzle arrives every day, with an archive to catch up on any you missed. A few puzzles are marked spicy: harder than their neighbours, and they say so before you start.

MILESTONES AND STICKERS
Each section of the road ends in a hand-drawn milestone scene, and every one earns a sticker for the book. Fifty-four scenes, no two alike.

A STREAK THAT FORGIVES
Keep a daily streak going, with one missed day forgiven per run, because life happens. There is an optional reminder at an hour you choose, and a separate nudge if a streak is about to lapse.

THE JOURNAL
Write down what you noticed. The journal keeps your own notes beside the puzzles that prompted them, so a year from now you can read your way back.

HINTS WHEN YOU WANT THEM
Stuck on a grid? A hint reveals two tiles at random. Hints come from your satchel — The Widow's Mite, Shepherd's Pouch, Fisherman's Net, Solomon's Treasury — or from a reward ad whenever you choose to watch one. Nothing takes them from you.

FREE TO PLAY
Occasional ads appear between levels, and a one-time Sabbath Rest removes them forever. Reward ads for extra hints and undos stay available whenever you want them.

WHO IT IS FOR
If you like a daily connections puzzle and you know your Bible, this was built for the overlap. A Bible puzzle game that rewards reading rather than recall: you are not being asked to remember a date, you are being asked to notice what four things have in common. Good for five quiet minutes, for family devotions, or for a small group that likes to argue about the last row.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.12 — 2026-10-13

Settings now has a quick way to rate the game, and a link to Verselah — our Bible word game, where you guess the hidden word and find the verse it came from.

Plus small fixes under the hood.

### 1.2.9 — 2026-08-27

• Every milestone now has its own artwork and verse — and all 54 stickers are unique.
• Tap any verse on the Levels page to revisit that milestone.
• Fixed a jittery auto-scroll on the Levels page for players far into the game.

### 1.2.8 — 2026-08-24

• Fixed sound effects going silent partway through longer puzzles.
• Small reliability improvements behind the scenes.

### 1.2.7 — 2026-08-19

This one is all about the ads behaving themselves.
• Tapping Hint could tell you that you hadn't earned your reward when no ad had actually played. That was our fault, not yours. It now says plainly that no ad was available, and offers the Shop instead.
• The pause between levels sometimes didn't appear — including after a level that earned you a sticker, which skipped it entirely.
• Ads now recover after a poor connection instead of staying dark for the rest of the session, and a reward ad is kept ready so Hint responds straight away.
Nothing about the puzzles has changed. If you were mid-level, you still are.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-08-13

WHAT CHANGED IN 1.2.1
Bug-fix and quality release. No change to permissions, data collection,
advertising, or in-app purchases. Nothing new is requested from the user.

CRASH FIX — this is the reason for the release
Enabling both reminder types could put the app into a loop: requesting
notification permission raised a system dialog, which pushed the app out of
the foreground; returning to the foreground re-armed the reminder, which
requested permission again. The system bars flickered and the app eventually
died. Permission is now requested ONLY in direct response to the user
toggling a switch; every automatic path reads the existing grant without
ever raising a dialog.

DELETE ACCOUNT — stronger confirmation
Account deletion previously sat behind a two-button alert. It now requires
typing the word DELETE, and the dialog states plainly what is destroyed:
sign-in identity, cloud-saved score, streak, coins and hints. It also states
what survives (progress on the device) and that purchases can be recovered
with Restore Purchases. The safe choice is the larger button; tapping outside
the dialog cancels.

NO NEW PERMISSIONS. Advertising remains non-personalised
(requestNonPersonalizedAdsOnly), consistent with our "does not track"
declaration. Notifications remain opt-in and default OFF.
