## What is Bible Atlas?

Follow the journeys of Scripture on a map.

From Abraham's migration to Paul's voyage to Rome, fifteen journeys recorded in the Bible are drawn as lines on a map. A trip that reads as a single verse on the page becomes a real distance on the map. It's only there that you feel it: Elijah fled 150 km from Jezreel to Beersheba — and then another 300 km on to Horeb.

■ What we paid attention to

· Roads are drawn as solid lines, sea routes as dashed lines. Using the same line for both would make it look like someone walked on water.

· Places whose location isn't certain are marked "location approximate." Scripture leaves no small number of names without a known site, and marking them as certain would make it impossible to later tell that they were only a guess.

· Every point comes with a Bible reference and a one-line note, along with its modern-day name.

■ Good to know

· The map background is downloaded, so an internet connection is required.
· No account, no sign-in. No personal information is collected.
· Bible text itself isn't included — only chapter and verse references are shown.
