## What is Bible Audio by OCC?

Bible Audio by OCC reads the whole Bible to you: every chapter of the Old and New Testament, in seven public-domain translations (King James, American Standard, Darby, Douay-Rheims, World English Bible, Webster, Young's Literal). The Douay-Rheims also includes Tobit, Judith, Wisdom, Sirach, Baruch, and 1 and 2 Maccabees.

The reader is Pastor Patrick Dailey of Ontario Community Church in Ontario, Oregon. The voice is a synthetic voice made from his own recording, with his consent, so the whole Bible could be read in one consistent voice.

LISTEN
One player: the book's picture, Play, fifteen seconds back or forward, and your place kept for you. Pick any chapter, change speed, and download chapters for offline listening.

READ ALONG
The words on screen with each one lit as it is read. Tap a word to play from there. Choose a light or dark look.

LARGE MODE
Big buttons and nothing small to read, for the car or the kitchen.

SLEEP TIMER AND SOUNDS
Stop in 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes, or at the end of the chapter; the voice fades out over the last minute. Put a soft sound under the voice (ocean, rain, night wind, birds, a soft pad). Psalms for rest, and a gentle Morning.

BOOKS
Type a book or a verse such as "John 3:16" to play from there. Continue where you left off, a Psalm and a Proverb for each day, and a Listening progress page that shows how much of each book you have heard, as a list or a chart.

ALSO
Switch translation while you listen and carry on at the same verse. Three themes (OCC light, Parchment, Midnight) or colors that follow the time of day. Share a chapter or verse. Siri ("Play Psalm 23 in Bible Audio"). The book list beside the player on iPad. An Apple Watch companion for play, pause and the sleep timer. If you also have Bible Explorer by OCC, "Open in Bible Explorer" opens the same chapter there.

There is no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no analytics. The audio streams from the church's own server.

Built by Ontario Community Church and offered free to anyone who wants to hear the Bible.
