I specifically wanted the NKJV to be an option and to see scripture on my watch somehow. I found Bible Hour and just thought, let me download this for now. Well, it’s been a couple of days and I’m so grateful for it! It’s simple, beautiful, customizable, and gives encouragement, peace, and joy. I’m finding new scriptures to meditate on and memorize. I have it on all my devices. It’s no longer doom scrolling for me with this app. It’s LOVE scrolling. I was going to offer a suggestion make it an option to select the hour for past verses to scroll through, but I don’t know if that’s necessary. Maybe just by selecting the topic I need at that time and go back through the feed is sufficient. However no matter how many or few times you have set it always gives them hourly. I wanted alerts for about 4-5 times daily. I even selected the times I wanted. But I still get a new verse every hour. I like being reminded to read the Bible and study verses. If you get that fixed I would rate this app 5 stars **Developer response:** Thank you for the feedback. You should only be sent notifications for the hours that you have set, but the verse will always change every hour as designed. If you are getting notifications for hours that you haven’t set, then please try redownloading the app, or try resetting the alert switches. You have a symbol of a Bible, you ought to be able to access any scriptures in the Bible you want. Not just what you have given for today why because you already have “Today” Other than that I find this app very useful **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We will give more options for backgrounds, or allow for custom ones. Since using it for several weeks now I can say I feel closer to God and his word. Sometimes I feel annoyed hearing another ding from my phone and then I just sigh and remember that God is with me and that brings me so much comfort even when I am not able to pull out my phone right away. I love being able to favorite the verses and save them in collections. I have suggested a few features like alphabetizing the scripture collections that I set up and the ability to add my favorite verses to cycle through. The developer has responded to my messages and will hopefully incorporate that soon.
