Am I missing something? Why are the words of Christ not in red. I use the MEV version and am not seeing how to do this. Icons for study topics are very amateur. Some professional Art or AI would greatly improve this. Why can't I underline things? Why must I hover my mouse and then wait 2 seconds before my note pops up? Just let me select the verse and see all notes and tools associated with it. Why can't I highlight a verse in one translation, add notes, and then not push those changes automatically to all installed translations with the same notes and highlights vetted through to the other translations? Why can't I highlight just a few words from a single verse to stand out to me? Overall, the best Bible Study tool I've seen. And I've seen them all. This lets you know the state of other tools if I'm only ranking this one a 3/5 So many more room for improvements. I almost gave this a 4, but I don't want you to settle. Keep innovating please. Thank you. ### 4/5 — Best Ministry App on Apple *2025-11-02* As a Sabbath keeping Watchman for ONE TRUE GOD Father YAHWEH and his Only Begotten SON Yeshua The only reason why I’m Giving it four stars instead of five. Is simply because I started out with the 1 month free trial. Because I loved what I was getting. With all the translations and fact that its offline availability then bought the perpetual license during that trial and the app is not showing that despite clicking restore purchases. It still show the one month trial. I have sent an email and have not gotten a fix for this. Yes I have the latest version of the App. Please fix this issue So I can give you five stars. I wish it could this, rather than doing dual work. ### 4/5 — I enjoy this app a lot *2025-10-06* I really do like this app. It has man things that I enjoy, but there are two things that are not fully understandable to me(which I will admit now might just be user error. 1. The search for word or phrases is lacking a bit. If I’m searching for a phrase that I don’t know word for word accurately, the app will not bring up that particular verse to help me. Also there are two sides to search from and I’m not quite sure why that is. Both search options bring up verses, with one not requiring accuracy, but still lacks in finding the exact verse I’m looking for. I find myself often just searching the verse on google to find it. Once again it might just be me. 2. I’m not sure how to use the “Strongs” section on the app. I can click on it, but unless I know the “Strongs” codex for every word, then it becomes nonessential. Again this could just be me. Things that seem good, but I haven’t explored fully is the rewards section and truth time. Does truth time allow me to look back at the past to see how I reacted in the past to different things? The part I really enjoy is seeing where I spend most of my time. It allows me to see where my heart is set in the word of God. The only down fall with this is that the section is small and I end up lifting my laptop to my face to see some of the smaller bible sections I spent time in. It would be nice to have it so I can click it and see what books and what chapters I view the most. Other than that I still use the app daily. Most of these other things that don’t function the way I want have work arounds. Still a solid bible app and I would recommend to anyone. ### 4/5 — Great app *2025-08-30* I’ve been using this app for about 7 months and am a subscriber. It is very user friendly and feature rich. One thing I have against this app is that there are TOO MANY subtitles/summary titles that are often unrelated to anything in The Word it’s prefacing. Often in the titles and subtitles the word “God” is replaced by the word “the”. I do my best to ignore them but it is very distracting so I am looking else where for a better implementation. If given the option to turn off these pointless and distracting titles/subtitles I will be back. Until then God bless and thanks for the work you’ve done on this app so far. App is too distracting, reading my paper Bible definitely reads better. Also app has metrics that are incorrect. If you don't use this app daily, and instead use various ways to read like the Bible, like paper Bible one day, and then a different app on your ipad, this app will have incorrect matrix which says "you've missed..." when you haven't actually "missed" anything. Seems like app overreach to me and there is no way to turn that tracking off. Every once in a while, it kepes deleting my notes, meaning i have to re-write them all over again. Is this app unable to keep up or does it not have the capacity to hold many notes. very dissapointing, because i really enjoy this app and would like this to be fixed. i also tried emailing the email above and i was given no response or help. i've even paid extra so that there's more storage and still this keeps happening. please fix it. ### 1/5 — Usability was dissapointing *2021-03-25* I'm grateful for apps like this and the attempt is wonderful, but still needs a lot of work on usability. the note and bookmarking functions are not intuitive especially when needing to do anything with multiple passages at once. having each verse separated out with a break in between is a nice option, but not having other options to view and apply function as a whole paragraph or book is a huge downside. I stopped using the app after running into this issue in about 5min into it. I really love the layout. However, it does not allow for linking notes to verses. That is what Bible Study is all about with digital Bibles. ### 2/5 — Low confidence in using the app *2025-05-16, version 9.02.21* I started using the free version of this app on April 10, 2025. I was able to write some notes, journals, and prayers in the various areas, then suddenly one day the system shut down and I lost most of the things I wrote. The items I wrote were valuable to me but they are all lost now. I have not had the confidence anymore to write in the system and feel confindent that the work will be saved and be accessible later. You can get E-sword x for $10 and never pay another dime.. and he did that.. could have charged so much more; And you can add other things to it .. freely.
