I used to be able to search, receive a clickable list of results, and go directly to the KJV + Strong’s result to dig into the root of a word. Quick, painless insight into a root word on the fly. Search results are now broken, and the only way to get to KJV + S is to already know the passage you want and navigate there through the menu. Seriously frustrating. Fix it, please!! ### 3/5 — Ruined *2026-08-30, version 10.2* It’s been ruined. Can’t use it at all now. Was a fantastic app. Somehow they let an incompetent person have access to it & it doesn’t work at all now. I sent may pastor brothers to it. They’ve looking to abandon it. I would never want to lose it 😊 but it seems I have thanks to a developer who thinks it’s good to take away a great search process and replace it with a token rubbish excuse for one. It’s a five star app and It’s been my daily study bible because I was able to click on a word and find the Hebrew or Greek word used and then, FOLLOW THAT WORD THROUGH SCRIPTURE. This following that word has been the most important thing for me. As of 8/26/26, that feature was removed. I can now only define the words and see that it was used x amount of times but that’s it. This is very disappointing to me. I hope this gets fixed. I don’t want to shop for another Bible app. This app has been amazing for years. I could get a Greek or Hebrew word from Strongs and find all the other occurrences of it in the Bible. This feature is no longer there. Now I can’t use the strongs search app without getting out of what I searched and go look up the verse then click on the word. That is a time waster and I can’t look up every word usage that way! I used to b able to click on the strongs definition from the search results. Please fix this!! I’m going to find a new app now. ### 2/5 — Speed setting *2026-08-27, version 10.0* This has been my favorite Bible app. I loved the narrator’s voice because it is has been clear and easy to understand but something has happened recently, possibly after a recent update. It has slowed way down and that interferes with my comprehension. Where is the speed playback setting? It disappeared from where it was. No yellow, no pink, no green…. And now no background color to switch to. Just black or white. And now no history to go back to. Book marks won’t stay folded to access quicker. Many bad changes. I used to love this Bible app bc others didn’t have this set up. But now just like others…. No bright colors just bland. I am tired of BLAND. Plz put back what this great Bible app had…. I use this app as my go to for bible study. The new update to search phrases/words is inferior to the old one. No longer can you search exact phrases. It is more work to sift through the multitude of verse results. There is nothing at all that I like about this update. Fortunately I have other devices with the old version that I will use. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. ### 1/5 — Disappointing “improvements” *2026-08-29, version 10.1* It seems you have robbed the application of some very good features… one is fast changing of books and chapters, another one (and it disappoints me to tears) is the opportunity to see where else a specific Hebrew or Greek word is used in the Scriptures. But it’s not working suddenly. Did the latest update cause a problem? ### 1/5 — Version 9.0 is far superior to v10.1 *2026-08-28, version 10.1* DO NOT UPDATE to v10.1 if you already have v9.0. >>> CAN YOU GIVE A METHOD TO REVERT TO V9.0, PLEASE? PLEASE. <<< A FEW EXAMPLES: Please give a method to revert to v9.0, as v10.1 & 10.0 FAILS to be what v9.0 delivers. Your v10.1 merely corrected a PORTION of what ALREADY EXISTS in v9.0. A FEW EXAMPLES: -- RETURN to the ability to SEARCH for STRONG'S NUMBERS (which now OMITTED in v10.0 & 10.1 -- only searches for words). PLUS, NO LONGER able to COPY these search results. --Changing verses MUST BE QUICK & SIMPLE, as PREVIOUSLY in v9 was QUICK & SIMPLE (the 3 options at top for BOOK, CHAPTER, VERSE); NOW v10.0 & 10.1 is a SINGLE text that always begins with Genesis, resulting in unnecessary SCROLLING effort. --When toggling to/from Strong's numbers (+S), it ALWAYS returns to verse 1, NOT the verse I was on in that chapter. -- MANY OTHER CHANGES are NOT CORRECTED in v10.1 & CONTINUES to be DISAPPOINTING. Version 9.0 CONTINUES TO BE far superior to 10.0 and 10.1. ### 1/5 — New Update Glitch *2026-08-28, version 10.0* I thought there was a glitch with the concordance in the app so I left a disappointed review, however I realized the glitch was resolved by restarting my phone. The concordance is working fine now. This app is a really great Bible study tool— I’ve had it for years. It is by far my favorite way to study. It was recently updated so if you’re having trouble with the concordance don’t panic just restart your device and it should be fine thereafter. Just reconfirmed that there is an actual problem with the concordance it doesn’t load and crashes when you try to look up the meaning of specific terms. You have to do it through the text now. ### 1/5 — Update is awful!! *2026-08-28, version 10.0* I would have given this app a five star review except that the new update is awful. They have changed the way you do highlights and copy verses and do the searches and now it is a one star app. Very very disappointed in this new update. You would be better to convert this back to the previous version as it was wonderful and now is NOT. Cannot even contact them as the page crashes and the website says “oops not found”!! ### 1/5 — update v10.0 broken *2026-08-28, version 10.0* I love this app, been using it for years— I even purchased the map pack. The new update made UI improvements but also broke a lot of the core features of this app. Tapping on the Root Word just takes you to the page instead of giving a small pop-up window like it used to. And the WORST is that when I am on the page of a Hebrew/Greek word page, I can no longer see the verses that this word appears in. PLEASE FIX. AND MAYBE DON’T RELEASE THE UPDATE IF IT BREAKS A LOT OF CORE FEATURES? Will change rating back to 5 star if issues are addressed. ### 1/5 — New ugly layout that removed useful tools SUCKS! *2026-08-28, version 10.0* I am very disappointed with the new look, you have eliminated some very useful tools. When I used to touch a word on the top page it should how many times used in the KJV, and when you touched the number icon it would show all the verses in the transliteration , it would also show how many commentaries, dictionaries, concordance used for that specific word touched , you now have to scroll down each commentary because yo don’t know if it’s available for the verse. ### 1/5 — Horrible update Aug 2026 *2026-08-27, version 10.0* What happened ?? The update defaults to RVA instead of KJV. The occurrences icon is gone across the top and have to scroll to search and now no link to else where word occurrence. I bought a bundle package and have been using since Jan 2025 and now I can’t use it. Am I the only one who is having issues? I’ve been using this app for a while now and it’s probably my favorite Bible app because it allows me to read with or without Strong’s numbers, has a verse of the day and keeps a log of them so I can look back and remember, and the search bar allows me to search the scriptures very specifically so even if I can’t remember exactly I can usually find the verse or passage I’m looking for. It also allows me to study specific works or terms easily. This is the only KJV app I’ve found that has that type of interface for searching the Bible, but unfortunately, the new update removed all of the wonderful search options. Please please please revert back to the old search layout! I thought about deleting the app and reinstalling but, I’ll lose all my highlighting and underlining if I do that.
