At the press of a screen I have access to really in depth discussions of Gods Word. This isn't happy clappy feel good about yourself stuff, this is learning about the God of the universe and feeling good about Him. This is proper meat and potatoes that I can share with my friends and have deep biblical discussions. I really like how I can go back and listen to a sermon again and get something new out of it. It's wonderful intellectual stuff that helps my head direct/understand/process all the joy in my heart. And cited sources! Lots of great content on topics as well as Bible books. App is much improved on the previous generation, still a bit clunky between audio/video, doesn’t have a completely native iOS feel. But search is much improved, now has Bible passage and even handouts for more recent talks. Now I am able to do this through an app. I'm so grateful for this. Keep updating this to make it even better. I'm giving it a "4" because I know it can always be better. I'd like to see a much bigger collection of sermons available. ### 4/5 — Functional app with excellent resources *2016-04-03, version 4.5* The app delivers basic functionality - St. Helen's solid teaching is available in the palm of your hands. I find the organization of the sermons in the app is scattered - I prefer to listen to one series at a time, but the default presentation lists the sermons in reverse chronological order, and the search function is a bit cumbersome. Additional improvements needed: move the pause burton away from the Done button - or enable a talk to resume where you left off, rather than at the beginning; use the iOS audio control feature whereby you can skip back or forward 15 seconds in case you missed something and need to hear it again. ### 4/5 — Nice work Dave! *2013-11-08, version 2.4* While not as sexy as desiring god, or redeemer or even tgc, but it's the fastest downloading app I've come across. Live stream feature has come in a timely manner and given WFH is becoming the norm I would be encouraged to tune in more - particularly in the midweek. Nice to haves: ability to submit questions via the app. Ability to search talks via themes / topics not just by bible books, i.e. tagging **Developer response:** Hi Peter, We're very pleased to hear you're enjoying the app. You can already search by any phrase (or theme), just search for it and it'll appear. The livestream technology is made by someone else and at the moment it's view only. We're not planning on spending too much time adding in Q&A functionality - we're going to focus on the overall experience and content instead. Hope that's helpful.
