It is very frustrating. Is there a way to retrieve my progress with out going back and trying to figure out what I’ve already read? Not sure how to get it back, and the app is not easy for me now! I will have to say I loved the older version and felt good about my progress! ### 1/5 — Was a good app until update *2020-10-14, version 6.0.0* Was a great app for keeping track of my percentage read until they updated it on 10/13/2020 and deleted all my data after I’d read 70% of the Bible. Now apparently the Bible consists of only Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, and Job. That’s all that’s listed in the app now. ### 1/5 — Beware cult Bible *2020-07-05, version 5.2.0* This is the new world translation of the watchtower Bible and Tracy society. This is the publication arm of the jehovahs witnesses cult. Not okay. I was excited about it too ### 1/5 — Not real translation of the Bible! *2019-12-10* This is the Jehovah’s Witness version of scripture. In Genesis 1 they call the Holy Spirit God’s active force. They don’t believe in the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit co-equal, co-eternal, etc.) and this shows in how they’ve changed scripture. They don’t believe Jesus is the Christ. Please don’t use this version. It breaks from thousands of years of church orthodoxy and proper bible transition. This app really helps me to stay on track. When my eyes are too tired to read with my heavy glasses, it can utilize the JW Library feature of reading to you. But, you can also opt to read for yourself. The dark mode preserves your phone’s battery. If you skip a day or forget, it remembers where you were, and best of all, it has a chronological reading plan, which I plan to use the next time around. As a suggestion, I would love to pick my own accent color, and it would be sheer perfection it the app got that accent color from the Mac as a surprise or Easter Egg, if you can excuse the software term for a feature you weren’t expecting. ### 5/5 — Great app for tracking my progress. *2022-02-25* I really appreciate this app as a simple way to keep up with my Bible reading progress. On peut même mettre un signet à un verset dans notre chapitre qu’on li s’il est trop long. Le seul problème est qu’il ne synchronise pas automatiquement entre le iPad et iPhone. This app has helped me solve this problem. With the options of listening to the recording and reading the text at the same time, one one app, I’m able to complete my reading each morning seamlessly.
