I want to contact the developer but I haven't seen any option for doing that on here. If anyone knows how I can exit the bookmark page without i having to delete and reinstall the app please respond to this review. I will greatly appreciate it. ### 3/5 — could be better *2012-02-04, version 1.1* App loaded OK but took forever to install. The study aids are acceptable however, you have to view them in portrait as they won't flip to landscape. I was expecting a little more in terms of user friendliness and workable features i.e. the autoscroll feature doesn't do anything. a "play, pause and (I assume) volume button appear but do nothing when pressed. Oh well a 3.99 lesson elective course. ### 3/5 — Pastor-Mike505 *2012-01-12, version 1.1* Pros: The app is rather mundane in that the "study tools" are not very useful to the lay person, but they are fully functional. For instance, Strong's Greek and Hebrew numbers mean little to anyone outside of seminarians, and there are no audible helps that would at least enable a person to practice pronouncing those words. So, at the end of the day you get what you should reasonably expect to receive for a $1.99 application - no price disappointment. Con(s): Neither the beautiful opening screen or the table of contents rotate from portrait to landscape mode when flipping the orientation of my IPad 2. That is not a "show-stopper," but it definitely casts a shadow over my perception of the app. ### 5/5 — Well done!! *2011-07-18, version 1.1* This is one stop shopping at it's best. All the tools you'll need rolled up into one easy to use interface. No crashes here! You can't beat the price. This has turned out to be my #1Bible reference tool. Thanks! ### 5/5 — Most Impressive *2011-04-27, version 1.1* I can't believe this is so inexpensive. This is one of the best Bible study apps I've ever seen. You may be skeptical when you see that it states that there are over one million links, but I couldn't believe my eyes when I noticed that nearly every word is linked. It is so easy to simply tap on a word to see the original Greek or Hebrew word and definition. It really helps to give clearer meaning to what I'm reading. And the link just never end. They're everywhere. The topical guide is phenomenal. I can easily look up any topic and I'm instantly bombarded with dozens and even hundreds of verses on that subject. And the I can simple tap on the one I want and I'm instantly on that verse in the Bible. The dictionaries work the same way. The customization tools are great too. I can add bookmarks, personal notes, and highlights. One of my favorite features is that I can have multiple tabs and look up something in one tab and something else in the other tabs and then go back and forth between them. I do believe this is a good app. ### 1/5 — HB *2014-12-09, version 1.1* The worst over priced bible app ever!!!!! ### 1/5 — What a waste of $2 *2012-06-24, version 1.1* Same as their Ultimate Bible Encyclopedia...NOT AN iPAD app!!! Crappy GUI design (even worse then the UBE)! Menus are ONLY portrait mode and only one portrait mode at that yet the text will display IF you giggle the iPad in landscape mode but as soon as you go back to the menu it's only portrait mode. I suspect that the developer doesn't really know how to code and is using outdated precoded old iPhone only code modules. What a waste of money! There are better apps out there. Deleted it and the UBE and wrote off the $7 spent for both. ### 1/5 — Has great potential, keeps crashing *2011-10-12, version 1.1* Sadly, as other users have said, the app keeps crashing. Sometimes it'll stay open for a few minutes, maybe longer and shorter depending on circumstances I can't figure out. There is so much good going on with what it has to offer, but it's marred by the bug that makes it nearly unusable, at least in my case. It'll go to 4 stars once that is fixed. 5 if you could set it up so that when you click on a word, there is a faster way to get to the dictionary version than going through the Greek and Hebrew translations. ### 1/5 — Pastor *2011-05-05, version 1.1* This app had so much promise and hype. Whatever you do, don't believe the hype!!! I have had to reinstall this twice and I've only had it one day. It keeps crashing and logging itself out. It has done this about ten times. This app is hard to highlight just a single word. When you try to select a word to highlight it takes you to another link or auto suggests highlighting the entire sentence. I was also looking for an entire sentence to be translated, not just one word at a time so just the dictionary option is not much help. I much prefer my Tecarta bible app. ### 2/5 — Requires Some Type of Bug Fix *2011-05-10, version 1.1* This app could be a very useful powerful app for the person on the go. Unfortunately it requires some type of bug fix. I found it very useful for the first few hours. No sooner than I had begun to explore the app, it crashed! It freezes and logs out on its own, which is very troublesome when you are in the middle of taking care of business. In use you are unable to utilize the concordance and dictionaries that are available to you. This app is virtually useless unless it receives a quick fix update. It has so much potential, unfortunately at this rate we will never know. ### 3/5 — Helpful *2023-05-02* Interesting App. Overall: nice study tool. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t access it. Please allow us to save our search data across multiple devices. I only ask they you create a login answer save function that will work with multiple devices so we can use all we’ve saved on any device. We’d be willing to pay for that service. ### 5/5 — "Bible Study Suite" *2016-11-14, version 1.48* My personal study of the Bible these past many years has been enjoyable and effective. However, upon discovery of this "Bible Study Suite" a whole new window of study information and opportunity has opened up to me. The unending links and references have given me many many new study avenues. The added Hebrew and Greek word links and their meanings is absolutely amazing, bring me many new thoughts and understandings for pondering. This app is well organized and very easy to use with the several navigation tools. The bookmark, tagging, highlighting, and filing tools allow me to quickly organize my studies by topic. This is very helpful as I return to my study outlines in the future. The search tool, with all of the books included with this app, has enhanced my study capabilities astronomically. I can now pull together hundreds of references in just seconds. Add to that all the thousands of built in links and you have a very powerful study tool. I highly recommend this app to all. This app succeeds where others have failed in one key function: the ability to click on a word to see the Strong's definition, and then click on the concordance to see all occurances of that word, with the ability to click on any of the links to see the bible text, and you can continue this chain with no limits, and also go backward in your workflow to return to previous screens. This functionality, coupled with the ability to open multiple tabs and deal with each tab as an independant entity allows a very powerful method of researching bible words and meanings. I rarely bother to write a review but this app deserves a lot of kuddos for it's powerful interface and low price. I wish more developers offerred such quality for a reasonable price.
