I think after the recent update, when the app goes into the “dark mode”, some of the text on the app is completely dark and illegible. It would be great if this could get fixed. It is permanently in your computer once you dowload it and I am going to have to delete my HD to get rid of it. There is something very scary and wrong with this app. STAY AWAY!!!! ### 1/5 — It’s not Christian: it’s Jehovah’s witnesses / Watch Tower material *2024-11-11, version 71* MISLEADING title and categorization. The entire church of Protestants, Roman Catholics, and Eastern Orthodox churches DO NOT recognize Jehovah’s witnesses (and watch tower publications, nor Mormonism, nor Church of Latter Day Saints etc) as being a legitimate Christian sect or denomination. I’m sorry friends but you’ve been misled away from the true Jesus, the true God, the true Gospel, the true Word. The real Jesus invites you into his true Word. Read the real Bible. Study bibliology: Bible history. dr Gavin Ortlund has many videos about Bible history, the manuscripts, there’s also a channel called “Can we trust the Bible”, learn about the textus réceptus and about the manuscripts. We can boast 5000 manuscripts to prove the biblical texts. Compare that to single or double digits for any other famous historical figure. We have overwhelming evidence to convince an atheist if they would only look at the evidence. If you won’t look at the evidence you’re as lost as the atheist. I pray that you will study the evidence and go where it leads. Follow the evidence. It makes it really difficult to avoid being led astray. The “bible” included in this app is the RVIC translation (revised version improved and corrected) which should tell you everything you need to know. Tip. Every time you download a new bible app go to John 1:1 and if it says “The word was A god” and not “The word was god” then you know it’s corrupt. ### 1/5 — Price is not listed *2023-12-13, version 69* Just wanted to research this app. Didn’t know I purchased and don’t know price and no option to cancel or refund any monies! Locked in without a choice. Not God’s will! ### 1/5 — Useful only for Jehovah Wutnesses *2023-03-05, version 47* Uses New World Translation and JW literature. Does not have any. standard Christian resources, such as Strong's Concordance. Although the app runs well for what it is, ithere is no clear indication that this is a Jehovah Witness tool. The New World Translation, despite JW claims, disagrees with nearly all major translations as some verses have been altered to fit JW doctrine. ### 1/5 — Unusable *2023-02-20* I don't know what the purpopse of this app is. Check out John 1:1 to see that they deny the deity of Jesus Christ by saying he was a God not the God. Very subtle changes in the Jehovah’s Witness Bible can be extremely deceiving to someone who is not clear about the equality of God the father, God the son, and God the Holy Spirit. To negate the trinitarian Godhead and authority of Jesus Christ is to strip him of his power. My friend do not be deceived, this translation lies about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. ### 1/5 — Very disappointed *2021-01-20, version 49* This app is wonderful when it is working but with the frequent updates there are always parts that don’t work. Music and sermon playback is hit and miss - then when it works, each song always has several silent pauses in it before resuming - very annoying. Now the newest version: all Bibles and books have disappeared except RVIC; can’t get any music or audio sermons and when I tap on the feature the screen always freezes, the same when I tap on my downloads - Terrible quality as a whole and a huge disappointment. 1/19/21 Mr. Bivol; You just emailed me asking for more details re: the issues and told me to email you back from within the app. I couldn’t find where that was so I’m putting the details here. Hope you get this. Updated review 1/19/21: App working better now, have only 2 issues: 1. Sometimes the “Bibles/commentaries” feature stops working and when touched, either nothing comes up or the app shuts down. Two friends with iPhones 7 thru 12 have same issue. We discovered a fix: go to a Manna comment, click on the scripture link in the text, and it brings you to the scripture verse; verse and commentary work good again. 2. Still unresolved: I download a sermon, screen says it’s completed, then when I want to play it, there’s nothing there: 00 minutes. Furthermore I can’t download it again because it says download is complete, even though there’s no content in it! PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS! I’m so glad that I found this app! ### 5/5 — Great work of providing manna *2023-08-09, version 66* This manna is provided conditionally like in the day of Moses, that they must take how much they needed not more than required, if that commandment is broken then it’ll be spoiled which can’t give life, LESS COLLECTION is not an offence. Another condition is to not go to collect on sabbath, which logically implies that on sabbath rest we no need much energy that usually required everyday, consuming more than we required especially without giving rest the body is an offence, similarly unless we meditate and walk in the truth we learnt , we are receiving more than we required Vice versa We are not practising what we learnt it is an strictest offence.
