Horrible App
There are endless ads. Also, this went from being a free access to the Holy Bible to requiring payment to access the Word of God. There was also a daily elections portion that coincided with the Bible Recap. All of my reflections are suddenly gone with no notice so that I could at least transfer them to a new app or to paper. There are much better options in the App Store!

Just meh
It’s just OK. Doesn’t hold your place, keeps going back to the King James Version which makes no sense to me, then freezes up and won’t let me go back to the standard version. Not worth the $30 IMO

Not working
This app is not working. When I hit the play button, all it does is spin. I can’t get anything else to work and I cannot get in touch with the app developers because when I send a message from their website, the message never gets sent. I don’t know what else to do and I’ve already spent Money on this app for a year and now I’m just out $30.

Scam app
Update: I contact on line The Bible App and found out they did not create an iPhone app. They can be accessed through YouVersion not through an app. This site is a scam-ugh. “I am struggling to figure the way it works. I cannot get the audio to work. Maybe one out of 20 attempts will the audio Recap play. I have deleted and reinstalled. I’ve turned phone off and back on. I have a iPhone 16 pro. I feel I spent $39 to just be frustrated.”
