On day 172 Psalm 1 should have been Proverbs 1.  It is repeating the book of Psalms.

The app was amazing the first five months with scroll-down abilities and approximate completion date based on verses/chapters read to current date. Just too convenient and organized!!! I loved it!...and then Gateway advertisements and over-sensitive side arrows appeared around the middle of June. The Gateway advertisement appears at the top of the Scripture reading screen and randomly jerks you back to the top of the screen causing one to lose his/her place. Accidentally touching the side arrows will change chapters...just irritating. I'm still using the app to check off the chapters read; however, I am actually doing my reading from another app when reading The Book isn't convenient. Maybe the recent changes are a glitch or invasion; if so, I give this app a BIG 5 STAR.

I was disappointed when I realized some significant passages were missing and errors, such as genesis 22 is totally missing (God asks Abraham to sacrifice Isaac) and Lot is Abrahams nephew, not his brother.

We have added the facility to read through the Old and New Testaments in a year in a more varied way - instead of reading the four gospels followed by Acts and letters, the different kinds of material are spread through the year.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Remembering what has been read and on what day now works much better. Sorry for any problems from upgrading to version 2.

Brand new Universal version - tailored to iPads as well as iPhones, and should work at different sizes on new iPad Pro.
Because of all the changes, if you have already started, it will not remember what day you were last reading, but you can use the Config button to set it to the next day you are supposed to be reading.

Also added explicit links to French, German, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Welsh versions of the bible. Email me if you want other languages or versions.

### 1.6 — 2014-07-16

Updated readings, as some verses of Job were missing. Updated code to read whole chapters if going across more than one chapter.
