The WEB translation is missing lines in the psalms. Psalms 100 and 101 is where I noticed it. Please fix this. The appeal to subscribe to support with donations feels manipulative. You have to completely shut down the app and open it again to skip it, and the options for donation amounts are steep. I believe some will just delete the app before discovering the workaround and miss out on the blessing of this app. Also, if you offer lower tiers for donations, I’m sure more people would donate. Overall a very good app. ### 4/5 — Mr Simz *2026-08-25* A reading should match the the length of time selected, if I choose a 15 minute timer, I should also be provided with a 15 min reading content. The NIV would be my go to. Finding some functionality was hard e.g. adjusting how long the block lasts for if and when required seems a good idea but wasn’t easy and obvious. Firstly, it only has a maximum of one hour App block, that leaves 23 hours for a social media addict to do what ever they want. Secondly, the app can’t track if someone actually reads the Bible, someone can literally just open a page on the app for the duration the app block last and after that, all apps are open again. Thirdly, I see that that app block only functions in the morning. While I understand most people tends to check their social media in the morning, there are other times of the day they can also check it. If the app only blocks it in the morning, then it leaves the remaining 23 hours for addicts to use the media. ### 5/5 — Amazing! *2026-08-23* Simple and easy to use! Cons: I’m not a fan of the translations that are offered—I’m an ESV or NIV gal and what’s offered isn’t my thing. I also wish that you could set up several “lock-outs” in a day and not just one. Example: 15 minutes in the morning, 10 minutes in the afternoon, and another 20 or so minutes at night. Those are typically the times I find myself on social media. I paid for the year long subscription at $60. If I had known about the translations available, I wouldn’t have purchased it. What's happening? ### 1/5 — Disappointing *2026-08-15* I support the mission of this app and encourage the creators to keep working on it, but I have serious issues with the current execution. Trying to get the app to function properly with other apps is an issue. Customer support is none existent. And the cost for the service provided is poor. ### 1/5 — Can’t get past Blocking Apps *2026-08-13, version 1.1.13* I’d love to use this app, but it’s not letting me get past the option to select which apps to block until I read scripture so what’s the problem?????😡 ### 1/5 — NOT WHAT IT CLAIMED *2026-08-08, version 1.1.13* The add said it would change my algorithm and I would scroll the Bible instead. That was misleading. And the timer starts when you open the app you don’t actually have to read anything open the app and the timer stays going even if you switch to a different app. I AM OUT $60 BECAUSE I TRUSTED A CHRISTIAN SITE! This is why people hate us Christians. SHAME on you! ### 1/5 — Doesn’t Work as Advertised *2026-06-27* First, it doesn’t turn the apps back on. Second, they give you the option to “donate”, but don’t give options on the amount. They only give annual and weekly, which is not a donation it is a subscription with a pretty bow on it. If you were to provide a way to donate however little or much we can as often as we want that is a donation. You should do it like Rocket money used to. Third, and finally, there are only 4 translations to choose from. None of which are common translations most people trust. I was under the impression that I could read my own Bible or maybe the regular Bible app, but even if not at least NIV, ESV, or NASB1995. ### 1/5 — Email *2026-05-25* I love it, however I chose the wrong payment and can’t afford it so the app keeps trying to charge me. The Daily reading really helps and then the option to read the chapters is fantastic. I am already finding that I a reading for longer than the time I had set.
