### 5/5 — Worth the money

*2024-05-07*

A picture is worth 1000 words! This definitely helps you remember easier.

### 5/5 — Awesome but one thing I’d change

*2024-01-19*

I would have like to have the option to also see the verbs written in 3rd person masculine singular perfect tense.

### 5/5 — Just what I needed

*2024-01-08*

Everything I want and nothing that I don’t! This app makes it easy to study on-the-go and in the down times.

The pics and pronunciation are wonderful!

### 5/5 — Essential Hebrew Skills

*2023-10-23*

This app utilizes sight, sound, and mind to teach Biblical Hebrew vocabulary. 1. The Hebrew spelling is shown in easy to read font size. (Thank you, thank you.) 2. The pronumciation by a native Hebrew speaker is invaluable and essential to developring correct pronunciation. ( Self-linking the individual consonant and vowel sounds does not always lead to correct pronunciation.) 3. Colorful, professional cartoons reinforce memoriztion. There is a study mode and test mode and the words are grouped into nouns, verbs, etc. as well as frequency of occurrence in the Old Testament. Essential app for learning OT Hebrew.

### 5/5 — Great app.

*2023-10-23*

Audio pronunciation and illustrations are a big help. Great app overall.

**Developer response:** Thanks! Glad the app is helpful.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 2/5 — Needs Much Improvement

*2025-05-23*

Not sure, but am sensing most those 5-star ratings are not real. The app itself shows you a Hebrew word with no pronunciation help and a picture that is complicated enough that you cannot figure which part of the pic represents the word being taught. To get the English meaning of the word, you have to tap around each item in the pic until you finally hit the right one. It’s very frustrating with no Alef-bet to even learn the letters you’re being shown in the Hebrew words.

**Developer response:** ???
We are totally at loss at your feedback.
1. The app offers pronunciation for every word. Just tap on the speaker icon and the sound will play.
2. The app shows tutorial how to swipe the image up-down to reveal the English gloss/meaning.
3. As for the alphabet, thank you, I will be adding it in the next update. Much appreciated.

Two stars??? Surreal.

### 5/5 — Excellent, affordable

*2026-05-26*

I’ve always admired Stan Kondrat’s knowledge and humility watching his YouTube channel; so, I knew that any app that he created would be excellent. This was great. It has helped me to learn a lot fast. Also, I am pleased that he respects the privacy of app users by not collecting data on them, as many app creators intrusively do.

### 5/5 — Simple. Easy. Effective

*2026-05-25*

Currently a student at Andrews University studying Hebrew and Greek. This helps me so much as I pass time by studying and testing. Thank you for this. Btw: I saw this on the post board.

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2026-03-11*

I speak as one who has studied Biblical Hebrew to perhaps solid beginner. I never touched an “ app” I can tell you why a word is worded that way. Most of the time. And armed with that im finding this app a delight to “play”. That’s what it feels like for me. Its fun and forgiving. The speed of word recognition improves and helps my study.
Note: writing Hebrew by hand was essential to getting to a beginner. Writing notes gives one up to 20% boost in IQ ( honestly its just a productive learning tool) Enjoying the app.

### 5/5 — Taking Hebrew II

*2026-02-10, version 1.0.3*

Vocabulary is my weak spot in Hebrew. This is helpful because of the photos involved. Just started using but I find it helping tremendously!

### 5/5 — Good Study Guide

*2026-01-26*

I have used this app for a while now. It is the best app I’ve found to learn Biblical Hebrew vocabulary.

### 5/5 — Excellent app from cool teacher

*2026-01-14, version 1.0.3*

Stan Kondrat is a superstar teacher of Biblical languages on YouTube — although he seems far too humble to call himself that. Regardless, this Hebrew app he created is great. It is fun, easy to use, and a great investment for anyone studying the Bible and/or interested in Jewish culture. I enjoy the audio pronunciations of words, the cartoon illustrations, and the ability to memorize Hebrew vocabulary with simple flashcards. Great job, Stan! Κυδος to you for a job well done! God bless you! מזל תוב

### 5/5 — Great

Love it so far.

**Developer response:** Thank you. The new update is coming soon. You will love it even more.

### 5/5 — It is easy to use, fun and it works!

*2025-03-16*

This is one great app! I'm learning Biblical Hebrew and wanted something to help me with vocabulary. Not just nouns but verbs and adjectives as well. This app is perfect for that!

The colorful and catchy illustrations helps seal the vocabulary words in my memory. The definitions are easily available for each word and at the end I can go to test mode to see how many I remember.

I love this app and I am very glad I have it!

**Developer response:** Thank you. Much appreciated.

### 5/5 — Hebrew Students

*2025-03-10, version 1.0.3*

Hebrew students, I am in my 4th semester and wish i had looked for an app like this sooner! Well worth the price. To be able to review anywhere any time is great. The visuals are thoughtful and help memory. To be able to review by part of speech is excellent because some words are just harder to remember!

## Most praised reviews (1 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Great app for practicing vocabulary

*2024-11-21*

I’m preparing for a final exam in first semester Biblical Hebrew. This app is very helpful in practicing — and the vocabulary lines up very well with what we’re learning (Basics of Biblical Hebrew 3rd edition - Pratico and Van Pelt). It’s fun, too — not dry. Does not feel like work!

**Developer response:** Thank you for the 5 star review. In the next update we will be adding the vocabulary lists by the textbook.
