### 2/5 — Billing Issues

*2025-07-20*

If you were considering MAT I would highly recommend you go with a different company besides bicycle health I have had nothing but problems with their financial and billing department from the beginning. I have no idea what their issue is why they can’t get their financial department straight, but I have had tons of problems the entire time. I constantly have to call to address billing issues and their representatives are never able to solve the problem. It’s always some huge drawn out ordeal.
Try a different company. There are tons of other ones out there.

### 3/5 — Did not help

*2025-07-15, version 1.16.5*

I applied for my husband at the time. He was a drug user. He had implied that suboxone helped ease the want for explicit drugs. I could not relate to him at the time. Now after 5 years I have to take them as well. #lessonlearned

### 2/5 — Bots

*2025-07-08, version 1.16.4*

The groups and providers or gold, the platform and the bots and the shift that telemedicine has made to cutting the wages of their providers. Will be leaving for turnkey service. After 4 years, peace out

### 1/5 — RUN!!

*2024-11-15, version 1.13.0*

In 10 years I've never ran out meds. I've been with this joke of a service for 3 months and have ran out TWICE with no response from anyone. THESE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE TREATING OTHERS!!!

### 4/5 — Good app and CA Dr.s are great…,but

*2024-11-01*

The app was good and I have been a patient for about 21/2-3 years now. Then just recently they started requiring you do, minimum of 1hour, of their support groups. Even if you do N.A., celebrate recovery, smart rec., etc. on your own, they still make you do 60 min between your Dr appointments. The meetings are all the time and different style ones too which isn’t the issue, my problem is I can’t say H*****e or anything like M******e pills and can only say D.O.C. for drug of choice. And I had a problem using needles just as much as my DOC so I don’t share ever now. They also don’t take my insurance and never will most likely but they started in CA which blows my ideas into paintings, oops don’t call 911 on me again or give my info to other clients it was a slip of my words and would never write/type something like that in a review on purpose.

### 1/5 — Insane New Charges

*2024-10-15, version 1.12.1*

I loved bicycle health as an option for the last 6 months or so. But they recently required 60 minutes of group/meetings per month. Not a problem, done that before. But they require you to use their services, which they billed me nearly $600 for. That’s on top of the monthly doctors appointment, and other misc fees like drug tests. There’s plenty of other e-medicine firms out there not trying to scam their patients.

### 1/5 — Hidden Fees

*2024-10-13, version 1.12.1*

I received a bill in the mail for $1000 for one doctors appointment for Bicycle Health, after i was told explicitly by customer service that my PPO policy covered the cost. This is a serious problem, and unfortunately customer service has passed me off without a resolution. So there’s that

### 1/5 — Patients on adderall beware.

*2024-07-31, version 1.10.0*

I am prescribed adderall and currently being accused of being on meth by Bycicle health.

### 2/5 — NOT reliable personnel

*2024-05-24, version 1.9.2*

I used this method for 3 months
This month May 2024 the health provider FAILED to call the pharmacy for my prescription and I I was with out medication
For almost a week it was horrible, I tried to message the personnel and they didn’t care,I was paying so I expect to get good treatment even more when you are at your Lowest but they don’t care, and they take for ever to respond in the message app I’m very upset because I do need help but I’m done with this people they don’t have a good system

### 1/5 — DO NOT GET INVOLVED

*2024-04-09, version 1.8.0*

Seek treatment some where else. The people are great in the beginning I have been a “patient for over a year it’s 200$ a month no insurance 100$ bi weekly or 50$ weekly even if you make your payments on time they still ask for 200$ even after you pay your month. My care provider we will call her Vicky 👩🏾‍🦰 was so nice and sweet every appointment my last 2 appointments have left me in tears as I had a message from her stating that I was “unstable and not complying” this is a lie she seems to forgot every time I have had an appointment I was at work so I had witnesses to all this work/family I have always turned my drug test in on time I was always honest with her the last time I couldn’t get a word into her for her cutting me off maybe she has personal problems going on i don’t know? But she has discharged me after they overdraft my bank acout into the negative hundreds and said they haven’t got payment on which I have my statements and my fiancé also has access to the features and accounts and I was set on weekly 50$ payments due to following the 1 payment a week I have and she has screen shots were they was trying to hit my bank account literally every day sometimes multiple times in a day(3-6) a day. The dr has tried to black mail me and say I was not turning in urine test LIE (I have screenshots and took extra pics in my photo library in case it didn’t upload never deleted from start) I never missed 1 drug screening during my last visit I had a kidney infection and it was very hard to urienate and she claimed I used synthetic urine?? Never heard of it so I googled it it has been outlawed in my state and is illegal to order in my state. So senes then I turned in urine test 2 actually and passed one 4-2-24 and I have screen shots were they deleted it and said it was unreadable that’s a lie I gave up 1hr 45mins of work to travel back home to turn in that test (also have screenshots and photo proof) she said it was a lie I didn’t turn it in. I have screenshots were I did. They are only in it for the money not to help they will start you on 1 8mg strip next visit move you to 1 1/2 a day and so on and so on till you reach 3 a day the “max dosage” that stuff is just as addictive then the drugs you took before you came for help don’t let them lie to you. She has had me at 3 a day for almost 7 months i believe and there care team guy called me tonight after trying to contact them for 4 1/2 hours we will call him Brad his words was “it’s a money thing” they literally will draw money off your bank or prepaid card 1-6 times a day until you finally have to block them from auto pay as I mentioned earlier now I’m stuck with a bank in the negative and owe them for trying to pay the bank and them I live week to week. Every appointment starts with hey how are you and no joke then “okay then let’s get your prescription in any cravings any usage?” Why do a urine test to ask that? Seriously. Your 1st appointment will be 1hr after that as long as you pay them you got meds your appointments ain’t. Even 5-10min max they send to your pharmacy you go get the meds your not sick what they don’t tell you at the beginning is the strips they give you cause you withdrawal to and it’s 20x times worse then OxyCodone/roxiecodone withdrawal ( 10year user) then they throw you to the dogs. I only done this review to let some one else no befor the fall into this money trap ( I also had 27 day 18 today) left and they cancelled me and I can’t access them yet no refunds nothing. Please reach to a local or family provider these guys are only there for you when the money is rolling in when I was younger I heard the term “Pill mills” these guys are no different I may not be much in this life but I ain’t got to lie this review is the true side I also have a family member that was done the same way he was hospitalized due to not having the medication after they got him hooked. I have friends who warned me but I wanted help so I went for it. Over the 9 month course of there care I learned I don’t need drugs to be happy in life I’ve came this far and will not TURN BACK I refuse success is the only option at this point. My provider I thought was really there for me but after reading the messages she sent me I seen the truth and after I informed them of the screenshots I can no longer access there app or msg boards the guy that called me and informed me “it was a money thing” and I informed him of ever he agreed it wasn’t right but also took part in the deleting of their side. I sent them the screenshots of everything they said I lied about and they discharged me writhing 2 minutes after waiting 4 1/3 hours for them to contact me. Get help some where else please it is possible you are loved even on your darkest days and you can recover just don’t get in with these people if you made it to the end of this sorry for taking up your time but I’m at lost for how I was talked to and accused of the things I was accused of I just won’t to know why after I sent them all my screenshots and proof were THEY LIED they got rid of me in under 2 minutes 2 minutes was all it took may god bless them and help them sleep cause there not there to help only to take your money and blackmail you god bless

### 3/5 — Pros and cons

*2024-04-02*

I’ve used this app for 7 months now, the doctor was nice and sent my prescriptions in every time, but when my insurance expired, I had to self pay for the treatment and the pharmacy. The only thing is, there’s no communication in the app, they just out of the blue kicked me out of their system and threw a $500 and something dollar bill on me, and told me I’d have to pay $199, make payment arrangements on the current balance, and start all over again, I had no knowledge of the balance, no one called, emailed me or anything, I told them that I was having withdrawals, and she messaged me back telling me to call 911 or go to the ER for help, I ask if I was to pay the $199 the same day can I get an doctor appointment the same day, and of course she tried to schedule me a whole week away AFTER taking the payment if I would have paid, so I told her never mind and ended up going to another provider that I ran across on social media. $99 dollars same day online doctor visit and same day pharmacy pickup, and it’s a whole lot better than this, they only care about money and not the patients!

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — A Huge Hassle

*2025-12-26, version 1.16.12*

While Bicycle Health appears to be a fairly seamless way to obtain treatment, there are constant hoops to jump through. I think my counselor, Perla, is a former parole officer. In addition to the poor bedside manner, I was over-charges by Bicycle Health. The company refuses to rescind the bill.

### 1/5 — In it for the money only

*2025-11-22, version 1.16.12*

Avoid these crooks. Insurance use to cover. Now it doesn’t. I pay $250 a month. I missed my appt. And theres no openings for 13 days. So they think its for us to with out ur meds and be sick. What about my Dr who is late all the time for appt. And sometimes cancels the appt an hour before my appt. Is she given a late fee?

### 1/5 — Lies about pricing

*2025-08-23, version 1.16.8*

This app is something to tread carefully with. They lie about the price, and don’t actually inform you of fees you’re racking up. I discovered this after trying to see documents on the app, that I had racked up close to $1300 in about a month of using this service. It was marketed as $35 a month….this isn’t my pharmaceutical prices, those were paid separately, they’re billing you and hiding it.

### 1/5 — SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*2025-06-28, version 1.16.3*

THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU CANCEL. LEGIT SCAM. RUN!!!!!

### 1/5 — A Huge Hassle

*2025-06-05, version 1.16.3*

While Bicycle Health appears to be a fairly seamless way to obtain treatment, there are constant hoops to jump through. I think my counselor, Perla, is a former parole officer.

### 1/5 — App update doesn’t work

*2025-05-15, version 1.16.3*

Terrible. Need to reschedule my appointment but the glitch isn’t letting me do ANYTHING NOW. Way to force people to update to reschedule appointments when a new untested update doesn’t even work. Absolutely terrible. WHEN they fix this it will go back to 5 stars.

### 1/5 — Horrible communication, providers are incompetent

*2025-02-19, version 1.14.0*

No communication within the app. No one to talk to about anything. When they do respond back to you, it’s days later.

### 1/5 — Joke of a company

*2025-02-18, version 1.14.0*

At first it was cool they accept your insurance, It ends up costing $40 after co-pays. Then they tell you that the FDA. Requires you to attend 60mins of meetings a month to get your prescription, Plus your monthly visit, I was told 2-3 times I didn’t even have to pay attention to the meetings I could just turn off my camera and put it on mute and turn the volume down and not even listen to the meetings. Which wasn’t a huge problem until they started charging my insurance an extra $577 dollars a month to attend the meetings, And if you go over the 60 minutes they can charge your insurance more money, So a few times I was charged $677 dollars for doing 70 minutes, Plus there timer for the meetings doesn’t even work or show up on your app correctly, Then when you try and get help with times on your meetings it’s a huge run around. But rest assured they will read your message and send you 2-3 emails or app notifications and text messages, telling you to pay your copay as soon as it comes in, I saw I think 4-5 doctors in a year time frame. So no one knew my plan other than reading from the last doctor.
One appointment the lady seemed to be walking on a treadmill, and had the tv on in the back round. Super unprofessional, when complained I was send a grievance link to fill out a form, I never heard anything about it after that. But long story short, they charged my insurance $199 for a follow up every month which was normal. I pay a $40 dollar co pay. Then for my meetings they charged my insurance between $577-$677 depending on how long i attended the meetings, so another $40 copay, then to read my drug test they charge insurance another $36 dollars. My co pay $8? And every 3 months they send you drug tests and charge your insurance I think another $70 not 100%, Either way in just copays it’s about $86-$90 a month while they charge your insurance between $800-$900 a month for treatment. So around 10k a year give me a break. There are other companies out there much better, I found out my new doctor said the fda doesn’t require me to do any meetings. Seeing meetings are free all over town and on zoom.

They were legit at first and now they just upped their price.

lol also one of the meetings i attended about recovery was maybe 30 minutes of a lady and the group talking about there fur babies. So they got to charge my insurance $9 dollars a minute to listen to that. Lots lots of help it did. I don’t recommend them.

### 1/5 — Was great until they cut me off cold turkey on several meds

*2025-02-02*

Before I started with bicycle I was getting clonidine and seroquel from another provider and asked atleast 5 different people at bicycle if they could prescribe me those meds, everybody said no problem.

2 months in my provider is gone new provider and they cut me off cold turkey, after I triple checked before I dropped my old provider, I haven’t slept in 6 days at this point because I had to cold turkey stop both.

Which could be dangerous since the clonidine is a blood pressure medication, but they wouldn’t even give me enough to taper off.

I wouldn’t recommend bicycle anymore I think they don’t take there patients health seriously and they have put me in a dangerous spot with a high chance of relapse because they put me on medication then decided to randomly stop it, not taper over time, not give me something to replace it or time to find a new provider, so it’s day 6 of no sleep and I’m barely holding it together, be careful expect them to randomly mess with your meds.

### 1/5 — Completely Ruined

*2024-12-04, version 1.14.0*

It’s literally impossible to speak with an actual human which is sickening for people who are in the therapy business. I’ve been trying to get in contact with someone for help for 3 weeks and these monsters just have a bot respond. They need to be investigated and shut down as they’re just ripping off vulnerable people at this point. Complete scum behavior.

### 5/5 — My experiences

*2025-10-22*

I have been with bicycle for about a year now , and I have nothing but good things to say about them, every time I have had any issue and needed help I have gotten in contact with them, they have worked with me and helped me out immediately everyone has been very nice and very helpful if you are struggling and need help, this is the perfect place to get that. I highly recommend it as long as u do what is needed they will be very accommodating and helpful.

### 5/5 — Many Paths

*2025-07-18, version 1.16.5*

I have been struggling with my addiction since I was 17 years old. I was in and out of rehabs since I was 30. I was unable to understand that addiction was more than my drug use. I was miserable most of the time. When I was 40 I went into rehab and they talked to me about Suboxone. This medication along with therapy and meetings, and my willingness to do the work on myself was a pivotal factor in me getting better. I still relapsed and it got worse. July 17, 2017, I was so low and a shell of the person I was. I was going to meetings, but comparing out! I finally realized “I” was the problem. Drug use was the most obvious symptom. I sat my butt in the chair at meetings and listened.By now I had been on medication a long time and my life was getting better. The problem for me was the provider was just prescribing the MAT and doing a drug screen. Then they would go find something else to do and I would have to find another provider. 15 months ago, my former provider left the practice and gave me a few numbers for MAT programs, Bicycke Health was one of them. I liked the idea of the program being on line., so I registered. My life from that moment has sky rocketed forward. The Peer support are angels. I have never been in a group where I felt I was not heard. I feel supported in my journey and today i can say I love myself. Through the peer support at Bicycle, and the Medical providers and my provider, Tarrah is so kind, compassionate, and present while I’m speaking, I feel like I never had this kind of support in my life. This time, I’m sticking and staying right here. Bicycle Health is my pathway to recovery.

### 5/5 — Hands down best program

*2025-04-19*

I was with Workit health for 5 months before my insurance changed and they had no interest in helping me figure out coverage. My insurance and myself called multiple times to explain that they would cover the costs but Workit had no interest in even answering the phone and when they did they were extremely rude and had absolutely no compassion. I’ve been with bicycle for a few months now and the difference is astounding. I get the same NP each visit whom I love! Shout out to you Stephanie! Someone give that beautiful woman a raise!!! The groups are plentiful and personal. Some you can sit back and just listen and others are interactive which is amazing for parents or working busy individuals. They work with your insurance and really fight for your care. Bicycle saved my life… truly.

### 5/5 — Fantastic

*2024-12-17*

Bicycle health has been a godsend. I was driving 5 cities over to get detox help meds and then my car broke down. I couldn’t afford to uber or get rides to my doctors office. I found bicycle health through a google search and been using them ever since. Everything is easy and my doctor is amazing! I don’t feel judged or uncomfortable. Highly recommend bicycle health.

### 5/5 — Excellent Staff

*2024-09-16, version 1.11.4*

My husband contacted Bicycle Health for substance abuse treatment. The staff were wonderful! My husband had previously been in treatment locally and had been discharged from that program due to a prescription his primary MD had given him for 10 days. The intake person was very thorough and helpful. He emailed forms and a link to the app. He stayed on the phone while my husband filled out the form as he has difficulty using technology. He stayed on the phone to make sure we downloaded the app and signed in to make sure we understood how to use the app. My husband was experiencing withdrawal and was very sick. He was given a same day appointment with a provider. The provider was absolutely amazing! She was very kind and understanding. She went through his history and reviewed all medications that he had been prescribed. She asked about the previous program he was in and listened very patiently. She prescribed him suboxone to stop the withdrawal and scheduled his next appointment. She treated him like a human being and did not judge him because of his history of addiction. My husband has previously been treated poorly due to his history. There are not enough words to express our gratitude!

### 5/5 — Reliable and easy

*2024-02-01*

I was on methadone for 15+ years. I was on about 20mg for almost a year and had been having issues with the clinic jerking me around with appointments because I only went once a month. So I stumbled across Bicycle Health and thought to myself, now is the time to take the next step. I went without methadone for almost 2 and a half days before I took my first dose of Suboxone. I felt great 20min later. I didn’t get too sick for the two rays, but felt lazy and lethargic. I switched almost 6 mos ago and am down to 1mg a day. Planning to cut that in half this month and be off in the next 2-3 completely! The dr is see virtually is great and I always get the alerts on the app when I need a urine. Wish you all the best in your recovery

### 5/5 — Awesome app

*2024-01-01*

This app has helped me out a lot. They are here to help and they do an excellent job with it. They don’t judge only help those who need it and are very supportive. The doctor I have is very helpful and listens and ask questions about your goals and he cares about his patients. I am glad I found this app it has saved me from a dark road and placed me on the path to recovery.

### 5/5 — Saved my life
