### 3/5 — Good, but…

*2024-09-29*

Very basic interface, but it works. I’d like to see other ways to browse the list of games, for example. And it needs an update for iOS 18 in that the images don’t work properly. (I can see the app load them, but they immediately disappear.)

No updates in 6 years (!) so probably abandonware now?

### 4/5 — Maybe a little more context

*2024-06-18, version 2.1*

It was good, but some things are hard to understand. Images depicting deals could help.

### 4/5 — Doesn’t work…. ?

*2023-12-29, version 2.1*

Thought it was my old phone. Got iPhone 14 now with iOS 17.2.1…….

Same result- ‘an error has occurred’
Gutted, as I LOVE Bicycle cards

### 4/5 — What’s there is good but it could use more.

*2023-08-23, version 2.1*

Rules are well written and easy enough to follow in my opinion. I like that many games briefly include popular variations. But I think it could use some additional features:
1. A way to add your own card games (even if it’s not public). It would be nice to have my rules for games all in one place.
2. Games should have tags where users can upload other names for games. That way a game that goes by another name will show up when you search with the unofficial name. (For example: Presidents is also known as A**hole, Garbage man, Scum, Capitalism, Big Two, etc)
3. Adding to point 1, some way for people to add the variations they know. Maybe a comment section underneath the games description.
4. Pictures could help in some cases.

I really like that all games can be accessed without wifi. Good for camping.

### 3/5 — Suggestion for additional feature

*2023-08-11*

My husband and I like to track our ongoing scores for the card games we play together. It would be really great to add a score card feature to each game. You can add players to each score card and track your ongoing game play.
We have not found an app that does this but I feel like bicycle brand would really be able to make that an amazing feature.

### 2/5 — Online connection needed

*2023-07-08, version 2.1*

This app won’t load without an active internet connection. So you can just google the rules needed instead of using this app. The app functions as a decent interface but still don’t understand why it isn't useable in a completely offline environment.

### 4/5 — Update

*2023-03-10*

Like the app it is good to know the rule when I play game and learn new ones. Adding video on how to play it and being able of download will improve a ton. Also the aesthetic need a improvement.

### 5/5 — Good way to learn Card Games

*2023-01-29, version 2.1*

Very good developed app you can learn many card games. I would add fire images but that’s it. Good games for any age!

### 3/5 — Lacks Detail

*2022-11-12, version 2.1*

Solitaire games lacked details that made playing difficult to understand for first timer. I had a bunch of questions. Like, what happens with the waste pile, and when does the game end if I didn’t win. Idk, I had to find a YouTube video that clarified everything. It makes me wonder about other games and how detailed they are.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2022-09-01, version 2.1*

This app is good has a lot of different card games and teaches you how to play!

### 2/5 — Не в восторге

*2022-08-11, version 2.1*

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2022-04-07*

Great app opened up an entire new thing to do in my spare time.

### 4/5 — Great app but one thing.

*2022-03-13*

The only thing actually two things, i wish the app would teach different shuffles, and it tells u the value of the cards but doesn’t tell which ones to deal.

### 2/5 — Needs more

*2022-01-31*

Ive been wanting to learn and play some more card games with my kids now that they’re old enough. I downloaded this game after seeing a blog post explaining the game “golf” and purchasing some packs of Bicycle cards, which advertised the app. I looked up golf and there were instructions for six-card golf, but they were lacking in detail, even compared to the blog I read, which had much more in-depth explanation of the rules, along with variations. I then looked up Solataire, which I haven’t played in YEARS. I couldn’t remember some of the finer points. The instructions left a lot to be desired. In the case of both games, if I hadn’t already played or seen better instructions, I would’ve been totally lost. I think they could improve the app by including a few pictures, especially of the setup of the initial playing area, etc. including rule variations would be great, too, since most games have them (ie. Growing up, I remember playing Solataire with the rule that you could only play a red on a black and vice versa and in the “Golf” version I initially saw, it was a nine-card version). Really, this app had nothing I couldn’t find easier and with better detail online.

### 5/5 — 😁

*2022-01-28, version 2.1*

It’s a very good app , you can learn new game ! It’s cool to play the game with your family !

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Obviously Orphaned

*2026-05-24, version 2.1*

The links back to their own website are al 404 (page not found) now. Obviously no one is maintaining an eye on the app. Guess it’s good for what you can get to still work

### 1/5 — Still no offline mode

*2025-05-16*

It’s been years and I’ve been hoping for an offline mode. All the instructions are basically just text, so I don’t understand why it needs to require a network connection to function. Even so, why can’t you have some (like favorites) saved for offline mode? We camp often and don’t have signal. It is nuts that this app cannot function offline or have some offline favorites saved mode.

### 1/5 — THE GAME DOES NOT OPEN BRUUHHH

*2024-12-27, version 2.1*

Says refresh the page ur internet connection is not stable

### 1/5 — worthless offline

*2023-01-25, version 2.1*

must be ongrid to use

### 1/5 — Address the cheating

*2022-10-13, version 2.1*

It is ridiculous to have a leader board when many of those on the leader board cheat by quitting when they know they will lose.

### 1/5 — WHAAAATT??!!

*2021-01-29, version 2.1*

Why don't you just improve this app? More and more people are starting cardistry, collections etc. You can use this app for cool things.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work offline

*2020-09-25, version 2.1*

The whole point of this was to have a reference for when I’m off grid, climbing, etc...but it doesn’t work reliably without an internet connection

### 1/5 — • Needs correction and revision!

*2020-05-22*

After again reading other reviews here, and hoping for the best, finally bothered to download and spot-check this neglected app, which presently hasn’t been updated in 2 years.

On a positive note, this app does seem to work ok with iOS 13 on a iPhone SE (1st generation, small 4” display).

However, long-standing problems remain unaddressed.

For example, for 6 or 7 years (!), multiple others reviewers here have complained that the play instructions for the popular games, Hearts (!), and 500 Rum [a Rummy variant also commonly known as Rummy 500 — although the app *doesn’t* even find its rules when simply searching for either “Rummy” or “Rummy 500” (!)], are, actually, incomplete and unplayable (!).

Unfortunately, that’s still the case. And that’s seriously inexcusable.

Even worse, upon further exploration, we found that 500 Rum, with its incomplete, unplayable rules, is actually the very *first* game listed and *suggested* in the “Discover” section of the app (!).

What idiocy is this, you may ask?

The product manager over this app has failed to do their job.

This app’s provided rules require revision and validation, overseen by a competent editor.

Not sure how trustworthy the rules given here for other games might be; but this app ought to be a clear, trustworthy, and authoritative reference, yet it clearly is not. : (

No wonder this otherwise potentially useful app receives little notice!

Is that not lame?

Is this not a stain of dishonour upon the U.S. Playing Card Company?

Please revise and update this app!

[Note: We were recently reminded of this old app from its advertisement on the outside of a recently-printed pack of Bicycle playing cards, while purchasing them, and also Theory 11 playing cards, from a new retail store display. Then, shortly thereafter, we spotted this app displayed as “Suggested” by Apple in the App Store. However, in years past, we had actually previously encountered, considered, and dismissed this app, because it was clearly lacking love and attention. Sadly, that is actually still the case at this time.]

### 5/5 — Amazing, but PLEASE UPDATE

*2024-07-19, version 2.1*

Really handy because i can take the rules anywhere. For some reason the pictures don’t show up but the app works. Would love to see more. ITS BEEN SIX YEARS PLEASE UPDATE THIS

### 5/5 — Nice!

*2024-03-02*

I love this app! It’s got card games I have never heard of, and gives me suggestions on what to play with my family for gatherings! I also have Card Games for Dummies, which is my favorite go to book for card game rules!

### 5/5 — Amazing, but suggestions

*2024-02-22*

Maybe have a little section for how to shuffle cards and different methods of shuffling. Seems like a cool feature that would help a fair group.

### 5/5 — This App is good

*2024-01-21, version 2.1*

This App is really good and the cards looks really nice, but we need settings. Settings for changing language or anything. If you read this you know my english is really bad. And other people who cant read english is this App nothing.

### 5/5 — A Stacked Deck of Card Game Knowledge

*2023-06-07*

This is a simple but very useful resource for various card games with my favorite feature being… favorites! Keeping track of games you’re interested in is great.

However, the developers should know that every shopping link under the Bicycle tab is non-functional.
