But Bicycling needs an updated app that features content like a website. The app keeps timing out on registration. Now I have to see if a human can help me. Thanks for nothing. (Edit) It turns out that the situation is far worse than I suspected. I learned by talking to customer service that the print magazine, digital magazine and website access are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT SUBSCRIPTIONS. So if I wanted a website subscription I would pay an additional $40 to access it ON TOP OF separate digital and print subscriptions. This actually blows my mind that someone could come up with such a Byzantine arrangement, probably Rube as in Goldberg. Just completely not acceptable. And on top of all that it is going to auto renew and there doesn’t seem to be anyway to change that and the only way to contact them is via email. Customer service is non existent. I like newsstand apps designed like this, closer in design to the print magazine than some of the big money mags do, with just enough interactive elements to keep you going. Although I would like a little more juicyness, maybe some diagrams or how-to videos!
