### 4/5 — Bid whist expert AI

*2026-07-19, version 5.33*

This game could be a 5 rating if an experienced player gave the developer a better understanding of the nuances of the game

### 4/5 — Partner Bidding process

*2026-03-17, version 5.21*

PLAY WINNING CARD WHEN AVAILABLE DO NOY TRY TO BE SLICK

### 3/5 — Adjustments

*2026-02-06, version 4.82*

Could you please explain the game to North man is a complete idiot. He plays the Trump’s unnecessarily. He doesn’t cut when he should. He pushes trumps when we’re the only ones who have Trump’s and the no Trump. He doesn’t get out of the way and it is so irritating.

### 2/5 — CPU teammate plays dumb

*2026-01-20, version 4.82*

Game is fun but the teammate doesn’t play logically.

### 2/5 — Weakest AI partner

*2026-01-06*

Great game but the only downfall is my partner is not the most skilled AI player on the table.. it never win it’s own bid.. it will bid a high or low and not have one Joker or no run in a suit… I have to out bid my own teammate just to save the game.. the opponents however plays flawless but mine plays as if they have never played Bid before.. its always 3v1🙄

### 4/5 — Would be 5 stars but…

*2025-10-23, version 4.60*

Would be 5 stars but the AI partners are not intuitive. Nothing beats playing with a real person who knows how. Otherwise, it’s lots of fun!

### 4/5 — Great Game

*2025-09-24, version 4.60*

Need to allow high/low/no options for same number of books! No beats low, low beats high

### 2/5 — Adjustments

*2025-07-11*

It could use a little upgrade for example my partner when I had a bid my partner plays the Trump back to me. Well, we only ones who have Trump therefore leaving me vulnerable to the opponent turning a book which he could’ve cut if he had held onto the Trump. In other words, we should have them in a crossfire. He shouldn’t push trumps back on when we’re the only ones who have trumps and my number two flex,in a no Trump, even though he might have a winner, he needs to get out of my way because he might not have another winning card in his hand and then he let me vulnerable to the other players,
In other words, if he doesn’t have a couple of one in cards to get back to me or if he’s not able to get back to me, he should get out of my way. Let me run the boy.

**Developer response:** Excellent point. We have not seen this issue of the AI partner leading back trumps when only partner has trumps. We will look for this and work on a fix. Note, level 3 has a rule-based AI it should count well and play pretty well like we humans do. Levels 4+ use an advanced Monte Carlo Simulation method. They make some errors that we humans would not make but play better than level 3 overall. Thank you for your review.

### 5/5 — Tired of defending against east/ west

*2025-05-21, version 4.41*

Played 5 straight hands and had to defend against east /west all five! Who wrote the program ?

### 5/5 — Bad play

*2025-05-15*

North doesn’t play realistic, doesn’t get rid of his trumps. I could be the best player in the world, but if North doesn’t play logically I can’t win. Therefore why should I play

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. We are working on play improvements.

### 5/5 — The best game

*2025-05-10, version 4.41*

I just LOVE playing this game

### 2/5 — Sucky hands

*2025-03-24*

The hands im dealt are awful. Rarely an ace. I’m passing 80% of the time. The only hope is that we can set the other team. I’ve looked for other apps because this is not fun anymore. Yours is the best program except for the deals. I usually get 3 to4 of each suit, something like 6 thru jack. Not fun.

### 3/5 — Needs an AI upgrade

*2025-02-08*

This game is alot of fun and there are alot of options that are provided to customize your game to the various rules/styles of playing Bid Whist! The main gripe I have is that the AI’s game strategy as your partner could be improved. Too often I find the AI cutting over me for no reason, especially when they have losers in their hand. This periodically happens when I have the bid or when I’m in the process of winning the book to help my partner when the AI wins the bid. Another case is during a “no trump” bid, the AI also has a bad habit of winning a book and not giving my suit back to me so that I can continue leading the charge on my bid. If these issues can be ironed out, this game is one to be played all the time!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Bid Whist. To get the "Low beats high" setting to work, please try the following. From settings - custom rules, choose "Low beats high". Then on the main screen choose "Custom rules" from the spinner and press "New Game" to play with your new custom rule settings. Currently one must choose "Custom Rules" and start a new game to have the custom rules take effect. Please contact use at support@neuralplay.com for more details.

Good introduction if you already know, the basics set up is awesome

### 1/5 — Sucky hands

*2025-08-19*

The hands im dealt are awful. Rarely an ace. I’m passing 80% of the time. The only hope is that we can set the other team. Lots of passing and 4’s winning the bid.I’ve looked for other apps because this is not fun anymore. Yours is the best program except for the hands that are dealt. I usually get 3 to 4 cards of each suit, something like 6’s thru 10’s, all the jacks and 9s. I varied the level and it didn’t matter. Not fun.

**Developer response:** The deals are not biased to any seat. With more play, the luck should change. We play on level 1 for more relaxing games. We also use the Menu - Skip Deal feature for some deals we prefer not to play. Thank you for your review.

### 1/5 — Competent Partners

*2025-07-04*

On a consistent basis my partner does not play as he is my partner he plays like every man for themselves! He cuts me out! He doesn’t play the right cards at the right time! He doesn’t play the cards that’s shown to have to play there is no team in the cards my partner plays he’s playing individual Bid Whist and for some reason I’ve never seen individual bid!!!!

**Developer response:** We are working on play improvements. Thank you for your review.

### 1/5 — AI partner

*2025-03-17, version 4.41*

AI partner needs work on here I deleted it because I’m tired of the AI partner holding cards an we get bumped because they didn’t play the winning card. The bidding algorithm is predictable. You might get dealt a great hand without an Ace and the AI your playing against will have you Card majority of the time.

### 1/5 — Partner Bidding process

*2024-11-29, version 4.30*

PLAY WINNING CARD WHEN AVAILABLE DO NOY TRY TO BE SLICK

### 1/5 — Bidding

*2024-03-16*

It appears that my partner tries to make the worst play when playing a no trump. The key is to follow your partner lead and not the best play for their hand.

**Developer response:** Glad to hear you are enjoying NeuralPlay Bid Whist. Thank you for your review. We are working on AI play improvements. We will have an update out soon.

### 1/5 — Foreign Ads

*2023-05-27, version 3.01*

We know that free apps are subject to many unwanted ads, but I read and do not look at “pictures”. I also read English. The app was good until it started showing the Ads in Chinese language!

### 1/5 — please just get rid of the ads after every hand.

*2022-09-24, version 2.60*

that's all, folks!

### 1/5 — I am soooooo tired of the computer getting all these stacked hands!!!

*2022-08-21*

I get it…you want to challenge the players but this approach that seems to favor the computer opponents has to stop!! No one can be that lucky where the first computer opponent has the Trump and their partner just happens to have either the rest of the Trump or the best of the off suits. Meanwhile, my computer partner is hit and miss on how to play cards let alone Bid Whist.

Very disappointing playing experience in an otherwise good app.

**Developer response:** Thank you for your review. There is no bias in the deals to favor any seat. The computer AI uses a Monte Carlo Simulation on levels 4+. This can be very challenging. For a relaxing game, we recommend playing on levels 1 or 2. We are working on improvements to the bot partner.

### 5/5 — A Blessing.

*2026-07-05, version 5.33*

This game is a Blessing! We thank God for the Card Playing Ministry.

### 5/5 — Worse game

*2026-04-19*

The partner does not know how to play with the partner. Hold on to vital cards cut the partner out and hold on to trumps. I hate this version. Not the inrgame I signed up for.

I realized this version does not have partners. It’s every man for himself. Now that I know how to play I’m loving it! Sorry for the misunderstanding!🌿

**Developer response:** If you have not already, please try the higher levels. We are working on improvements. Thank you for your review.

### 5/5 — Great game
