### 1/5 — Disappointed

*2012-07-14*

I am so disappointed in this app. I am a speech and language therapist and bought this as I wanted something for work at single sound level. However you cannot select what sound/s you want to work on. Also the consonant or vowel sound is not written on the card providing no opportunity for phoneme to grapheme matching. No wonder theres no preview as then you wouldn't be fooled into buying it. To cut a long story short don't waste your money.

### 1/5 — Bigmouth Sounds

Worst app I have ever seen and i have been using free abond purchased apps for over a year. Extremely disappointed. Have actually deleted it.

### 2/5 — Could so easily be better

*2020-09-21*

The levels don’t seem to correspond to anything and all sounds appear - it would be so much better if you could select sounds. Same goes for the games - you want to be able to select sounds. Same goes for the stories - it doesn’t say which sounds are focused on. All in all it would have been better just to find the useful pics and descriptions elsewhere and not wasted money.

### 4/5 — Good app for engaging children in making sounds

*2012-02-04*

There are 3 different aspects to the app. One is sound cards, where each individual sound is explained and demonstrated. Two is about 5 stories that feature many individual sounds and three is a sound matching snap game.

My young (2.5) son was very interested in the cards, and started trying to make the sounds without any encouragement from me. He also really enjoyed the stories, wanting to listen to them again and again. The narrative voice is friendly and engaging, which I think is what pulled him in. Just for the fact it got him to try making different sounds in a simple yet fun way, it is worth it. Certainly cheaper than most physical card sets and far more interactive.

### 5/5 — Great app

Great app for learning sounds. Love the stories and the game that are included.
