I’ve been using this app over various iPhones almost every day since I first installed it in 2009. It’s just so beautiful and easy to use for timing drip coffee or stretches or rests during workouts…it’s simply great.

願わくば、以前あった画面のオフをしないオプションをもう一度実装してほしいです

Below is my original review. Once again I was surprised and happy to see this updated. It has always worked even in spite of the lack of updates. Great simple interface and it works well. Happy to see an update at the end of 2017

Works well. I was shocked it was finally updated for iOS 7 but I have no idea what the details were since the notes weren't in English. I don't think this app had been updated since I got it in 2009 on the iPhone 3G

My previous comments still apply:

There are many more feature packed stopwatches out there. But this is unique in how it beautiful it looks, smoothly it moves, original and imaginative it is, and therefore a pleasure to use. Of course I use others to do more involved stuff, but to start a simple stopwatch, this is the one I prefer to use.

Ridiculous number of updates annoys the hell out of me. I look at my App Store icon, and it tells me I have updates for a program constantly, and it's always Big StopWatch, but I can't tell that from the icon on the home screen, so I can't tell if other apps have updates until I go in and update Big StopWatch. Today was the last straw. I updated it, and not 5 minutes later the App Store showed another update! Ridiculous!

What kind of lousy programmer has to update a stopwatch program every other day? What possible features could you add to justify me having to type in my iTunes password every other day?

Good graphical representation of a stopwatch that is easily readable.  
However, there is no translation on how to use the Advanced Mode.
ie. there is supposed to be split time, countdown timer but cannot get to these functions.
Anyone know how to get into advanced mode?

The timer works fine, but the countdown timer is useless.  You need to go into the iPhone Settings app to set it, and even then you can only select 5 seconds to 30 seconds in 5-second increments.  Weak!

I agree with everyone else. Beautiful to look at and easy to use, BUT I also want an editable count down timer for games with an alarm/buzzer. Would the developer consider adding these features? Then it would be a totally useful app for me.

Seems as though it works well, but how does one access the "advanced" mode?  How does one access the lap timer?  All instructions on the support site are in Japanese, so it is impossible (for me) to read the instructions.  Please post the instructions in English.  It would also help to have a "settings" button or something in the app itself.

Perfect app with an amazing interface!

One suggestion: please add an option for a pure black background. iPhones with OLED displays will be able to take advantage of this and make the interface more beautiful!

Use this stopwatch daily for work. After updating to IOS 8, it is very buggy and can not be used when timing something important.

This stop watch app is the perfect balance of elegance and function presented in a perfectly minimalist fashion. The large dials makes it handy for when multiple people need to see the stop watch at the same time. I use this app when I am watching soccer games in the stadium to track extra time at the end of each half, and it’s handy for allowing nearby folks to glimpse at it as well without me needing to show it to them directly. I would imagine it would work well in some competitive settings as well, such as certain games with friends.

This has been my favorite stopwatch app for many years. It has a clean and simple design that hasn’t changed, unlike so many other apps that seem to “refresh” their design every so often for no apparent reason other than just to change. It just does what you need to do, simple as that. Also, this app is over 10 years old and the developer continues to keep it available on current phones - I really appreciate that.
